Is it possible to beat kas in winter palace now?

So iirc there was a post by savin saying that it was intended for the kas fight at winter palace to be winnable once the full game was out. So obviously we are still at level 8 out of(i think) 10 and she is level 20(wowzers) but if you min maxed the absolute fuck out of every thing do you think the encounter is theoretically possible? I am currently in a new run trying to get level 8 before winter city to see if i could even damage her(at levels 6/7 it was basically impossible for me to even hit her). A big problem rn is that winter city locks off a lot of great equipment.

Also if you brute force your way through the minotaur guard does this get brought up again?

It's always been possible. Loads of people have done it.
bruh how. I just cheated like crazy with the save editor and even then I can't even hit her.

Edit: After mucking about in the save editor for a while I found a way to pretty consistently beat her but its defintely not worth the effort

equipment- Chrysanthemum petal, champion belt, (anything that increases attack power is good, defense is irrelevant)

Class- I used white mage for righteous fury but thief could be better.

Stats-Max strength/agility/cunning

Boon- Razorcup nectar

Powers-Charge weapon, Sure shot, Assassiniate.

Inventory- 20 kailera tears( you can get them from kohaku)

Strategy(if you can even call it that) Sureshot->assassinate->sureshot->charge weapon->Repeat

The two main issues with the kass fight are that she will almost assuredly kill you before you act and she has 145 avoid so most things cannot graze her.

Sureshot and assassinate cannot miss and kassyra does not have crit immunity. So using this you can at least do damage to her. She has three actions per turn and is likely to kill your party(and you) before you even get an action. she also has extremely high initiative so she will likely act three times in a row. I haven't tested a max durability build so maybe that could work, I wouldn't know.

Its kinda rough since winter city gates quite a few things so you can't even have an endgame build ready. I didn't know what to put for the second recharge and encounter power. I only used charge weapon since that was one of the few things that would always hit her for me and she has -100 holy resist. Stacking all the damage buffs from party members is basically the only contribution they will have, none of them can really contribute past that since they are going to die round 1. You can technically tears one of them if you wanted them to ult but i don't think any of them are good enough to warrant it. quint mind snap could be nice but he can't hit her.

Stance powers are kinda dog since you lose them on revival but she has 145 evasion. so even with 67 base accuracy and smite evil's +50 accuracy I still could not hit her. There is definitely a more efficient way to do this fight but I'm not that fluent in this games mechanics. A tank build might be better but idk if you could survive a lunge. Nullfying crits against with a shield and the cloak that stops sunder would probably be very effective if you did try to tank but since she has three action points she will be able to lunge every single round so youd have to survive a full damage lunge, double attack and driving thrust.

If any of you have beaten her in the current patch lmk what worked for you. After searching through the forums it seems like it was possible in past versions but kas apparently has been buffed to make beating her more difficult and those strategys no longer work .

...
First i have not done it yet and are basing in what the stats and powers of Kasyrra are in the wiki yet she has received an buff lately so i don't know if this still apllies, second is are you able to survive her Dragon's Breath or does it wipe the whole team.

I'm going to try with an high Armor/Crushing and Penetration Resist/Physical Resist (to lessen the chance of getting Sundered) build and slow attrition win, PC with Warrior with Tough Skin and equipped with: Eternal Delusion, Tower Shield, Helm of Heroes, Fluffy Scarf, Cloak of Winter, ImperialCuirass, Senninbari (you start with it already equipped and switch out for Leather Faulds afterwards), Leather Faulds, Gauntlets, Winged Sabatons, Lucky Strike Ring, Mare's Ring.

An ideial start would be:
1) To avoid her using her Dragon's Breath on her first three action pointsfirst on the first turn;
2) Have Senninbari survive you through her first three hits, else having to use an Kaelirra's Tears on the last of her first turn action points.

As Boon you can take the Pupper Pale Ale and the Mare Cidar from Caliope for an single PC buff before combate, also take some Steadfast Tonic (here is where the Mare Cidar Boon will give it some extra armor) for buffing all and Conjurer's Concoction for allies buff during combat (take some Kaelirra's Tears and Wyldsap also for if needed).

For Powers you go with Vanguard, Quake (cannot miss), Shielded Stance, War Banner and Inspiration.
You will be doing battle in manual mode the PC Power rotation will be Shielded Stance > War Banner > Defending > Quake (Quake is used after having enough stacks of Defending and having put up all Consumables first) and use or re-activate (wich i think won't be needed) Inspiration and Vanguard when needed.

For Companions it will depend on if you are able to survive her Dragon's Breath or not, if not you have to include Kiyoko for her Kanso Companion Set ability Fortify so to have an chance she doesn't use it at her first three turns and than you activate it to mitigate the damage of it, else you can include Brint/Brienne's Green Knight Set who will start with Briar Armor (keep this up so to start getting stacks of Defending) > than whatever else is needed (also his/her Ultimate is kinda an emergency button as it cannot miss aswell) followed by Etheryn's Queenly Raiment wich will keep the party up and try as fast as possible to put Spirit Veil (for that extra physical resist) on the Tank (also her Ultimate is kinda an emergency button and it cannot miss aswell).
The items Steadfast Tonic > Conjurer's Concoction will be used in between the rotation above when your able to, priority is yourself first for Steadfast Tonic and than your part members as for Conjurer's Concoction you put it on the others when you can.

The damage against Kasyrra will be dealt through Brint/Brienne's [ Icon-DF-Pos.png Thorny] (wich also doesn't miss) and your Quake (you could also use Wyvern Venom and Ley-crystal Grenade [as both of them cannot miss aswell] if you have enough stacks of Defending and Shielded Stance, Quake are on cd).

Else if wanting to make an group with an Companion Tank the best would be Arona because through her Shield Drive removing Sundered and Berserkergang and Tough Skin together giving an wooping of 60 Penetrating and Crushing Resist, depending on if surviving Dragon's Breath or not you take Kiyoko else you go with Brint/Brienne.
And as Champion you'l be an White Mage Healer with max. stats in Agility, Cunning, Willpower and as Powers you take: Holy Ward (try to mitigate the uptime of Sundered) or Great Heal, Sorran Chant (quiker cd than Group Heal), Shielded Stance or Cleansing Bell, Spirit Veil and Inspiration.
For Consumables and rotations (even for Arona) it is about the same as what was written above.

P.s. - If you defeat her tell me about it later.
