Just got to Tarkus in my recent save, and met Aurora. Cute kid, interesting chat, etc, etc. One small issue tho: All of her interactions' texts start with what feels should be written in the tool tip box when you hover over te interaction buttons. Even bringing up her shop sends you to a screen where what's written in it feels should have been written in the small textbox next to the merchant's pic on the shop interface

Wouldn't the answer here be to disable any combat drones you may have and just click "Fantasize" for each turn until you succumb to lust?

This is for ship-to-ship combat, not personal combat.

In like one or two sentences, could you define the Quality Control reason they got removed?
I'm assuming the lack of content they had?

Would love an explanation as to why Galomax pills are so limited quantity that only 5 of them exist throughout the entire galaxy, there's no lore reason for this as far as I'm aware and other more illegal/legally-dubious TFs don't suffer from that rarity issue.

Probably because you only need five to fully gooify, and unlike other TFs, gooification is permanent.

Might not make sense logically, but in game design it makes perfect sense. Any extra sources of Galomax would either not be bought, or if found, sold for a tidy sum of credits.

Funnily enough, the game actually does account for taking a 6th or higher dose of GaloMax; it fully reverts you back to being a goo, as if you did that via the goo customisation menu, or if you've no body parts to revert, has an equal chance to simply provide a large boost to biomass (i.e. 1,000) or have no effect. That's definitely meant as a failsafe, though; the comments in the code indicate as such.

Always thought it was for the same reason as to why you can only find 5-6 synthcocks through the entire galaxy, with you only needing that exact amount if you wished to interact with all of its content (1 for you, the rest goes to other npcs)
Galomax, if i'm not mistaken, turns you fully into a goo after the fifth pill, and since it has no ther use besides that, i'd be kinda pointless to keep hoarding it, other than for credit farming

Enlightening. I especially understand the bit about their power level, once you get to Tarkus you're usually level four. Or higher.

They're only level two. Still love their content though. Gotta love bunnies and eggs.

Weakest was literal, they were complete pushovers. Also their theming didn't mesh with the idea of Tarkus as a whole. Their uniform grey color scheme betrays the fact that they're still little fluffy rabbits on a mostly mechanically themed world barren of natural plant life

TBH they didn't need to be removed from the game in the first place, a buff and relocating them to a different planet(Uveto in my opinion) would've solved all the problems they had.

Probably, probably not. I'd say at least some minor tweaking both in terms of combat and scenes would be nice if they ever get reintroduced, because as they stand right now, they just fill like filler enemies

I'd like the option to recruit Anno without having to fuck her or blowing up Tarkus. It feels icky having to fuck her first to even get the mission dialogue, even when you get this whole email from her begging for you to get her off Tarkus. It just comes across now far later on like the writers are forcing you to either fuck her or make her quit her job by blowing up the planet she's on. I kinda realize that I stopped being interested in recruiting her for anything beyond a convenient junk buyer on my ship and her one part on Syri-quest(because not having her on the ship during the conclusion ultimately makes everything feel hollow, like Anno was supposed to be there to explain her side but it never gets to happen even after you recruit her later on).

Also the Lapinara has been had a completely revamped codex to account for the fact that the parasitic one was nixed and covers them as a whole race now I think, so idk why that hasn't been added in the wiki.

I really agree that Anno should be recruitable without requiring fuckbuddy status. I don't really mind having to achieve fuckbuddy status with Anno to be able to recruit her, since we literaly have to do the same with Syri to start the recruitment process. Tho, i'd agree that, unlike her sister, the white doggo feels entirely relegated to the "promiscuous crewmate that is more promiscuous towards you" role once we're done with the mess at the Nova

I assume Savin had more plans for a lot of things he wrote in TiTS before he became project leader on CoC2. But once he did, he didn't have enough time to tie up all loose ends and had too many spinning plates on his hands.

Yeah, maybe. Should that be the case, hopefuly one day he gets to "tie" all those lose ends, but who knows...
