Tentatool Bad Requirements?

I've tried everything but for some reason, I can't get the Tentatool Bad ending to trigger. Tried it on different planets and different places on the maps. Can't get the arm transformation. Message just says that the pill wore off. Anything I'm missing?

According to the old Flash code, tentacle arms were actually cut, so tentacle legs and a total tentacle score of at least 25 are the only requirements. The chance is rolled upon taking Tentatool while already under its effects, and equals your tentacle score minus half your Willpower, all divided by 80 - so you might just be getting unlucky, or your Willpower is high enough that the Bad End simply can't trigger.

So this is a me specific problem because what I always do is top off my Reflex and Aim and then dump the rest into Willpower every single level up. Curse my mid-maxxing habits. Lemme try that real quick.
Edit: Okay, I used file editting to knock my Willpower down to 1, took off my clothes and weapons and accessories including piercings, tried on my ship, Tarkus, Mhanga, Tavros, and New Texas, and even used Virection to give myself Tentacle 10 dicks instead of the Tentatool's minimum 5. It is not triggering whether with spamming eating the Tentatool and using normal dosage and overdosing.

Could be a new bug. I made a new character and downed 30 tentatool's not triggering the bad end either. I remember it working a few months.
