Kineticist Feedback Thread

When playing Kineticist it feels most of the time that it's missing something or that I would love to get some of their powers as Tech Specialist

It makes me wish that levels went up to 20 but not having 8/16 more abilities and perks, and instead upon reaching level 13, you were given a choice between getting the other first 8 special abilities of your current job or becoming 'multi-class', and choosing from the first 8 abilities of a second job (of course not getting their 12 perks from leveling nor their starting ability)

That way you could choose between going all-in with your current job or creating 'hybrid' jobs, something like the Infiltrator, Sentinel, and Vanguard from Mass Effect
i think being able to hybrid into one later would be good as well maybe what ever tests they do to determine if steele can be one missed it thus steele cant fully grasp their powers as they missed out and thus are unable to fully utilize them but having say a smuggler/Kineticist hybrid focused on stealth could be cool etc etc

While I like the caster concept, I wish that the Kineticist had lust-based attacks. The Icon sort of implied at least a few, and being able to roleplay a space succubus would be neat. On a similar note, I'm disappointed that the Psychic Tentacles and the various Savacite things don't have any interactions with us. It's such a big thing on uveto, I was excited to finally get there as a kineticist and...big fat goose egg.
However, giving bimbos perks to make their psionics still work is neat. Please keep adding interactions like that, it makes experimentation a lot more appealing than just building the same guy over and over.

I like to think the idea of this being implemented could be using Brute/Bimbo versions of Kineticist having altered perks that raise lust, such as the thermal powers causing them to heat up and sweat or leech increasing lust out of desire to warm up, etc.

Recently started a kineticist playthrough a few days ago and hit level 13.

Kineticist feels strong but Deep Impact is overpowered, basically autowinning against any enemy that can't resist the stun that bypasses shields and even stacks in duration, with only the mere condition of requiring a critical hit (which hitting the 50% cap is pretty doable).

Other than that, Telekinetic Warrior is worse than weapons in every way and competes with the very good Third Eye Aim so nobody will ever use it, and Concussive Augmentation feels a bit weak but the fact that it doesn't use a turn to cast still makes it better than nothing I guess. The level 13 abilities also seem underwhelming and probably never going to be used by anyone since by the time you're level 13 you'd have a lot of burst damage options (and stun from Deep Impact) to end fights before you ever even get debuffed by enemies.
