There was a hotfix for this released yesterday.

They usually do release hotfixes for crashes. I don't know why they didn't for this one. Not enough reports fast enough? Most crashes flood the board with reports. This one only caused one or two a day.

Most items shouldn't cause issues, but a few are special. For example, you can only have one Siegwulfe, and where you buy one sets important variables. If you think one will cause issues, you can probably drop/sell it before getting it 'legitimately'.
