if you go and talk to Aster and select Meet Companions without any companions your game is hard stuck and you have to close it

Well, the game is balanced around using companions so im not surprised there are bugs that only happen if you dont.

True, but this isn't so much a bug as an oversight. Even with companions there should always be a Back option or a companion check on option to get here (Back would probably be preferable, since it will also let the reader see what companions have content and not have to keep running to the Waystone and testing combos.)
