You can just walk away from combat

I opened my inventory during the lumi fight, but closed it by using the hotkey instead of pressing the back button, and now I'm back on the map and nothing is stopping me from just leaving and finding another encounter so I don't have to deal with her. It's a nice exploit but I don't think it's intentional.

Edit: I have run into the sydian cboy, and the combat log includes my fight with lumi before the sydian. Lumi is having no effect on the fight, thankfully.
