Honest question here why can't we just get infinite of them like every other TF that isn't Galomax I understand Galomax you can only ever use 5 even if currently only 4 exist. What is it about this item that means we can't get as many as we want. It is clearly useful see all the NPC we can use it on so I see no reason for it to be so restricted.

Where synthsheaths a discontinued product line? That would account for their scarcity.

Then again, Steele is roaming around the far boundaries of the UGC and then some, so that may be why some items that should be common are fairly rare.

the reason is its really hard is because the RNG is a 1% spawn rate

For me, the synthsheath is a convenience thing. There is no faster way to gain a penor without additional side effects. This is the only item in the game that has tempted me to use the furfag cheat. If there was a quest to go on a hunt for the blueprints so I could fabricate my own I'd so do it.

NT, Busky's mods, virection. The difference is free but RNG vs not cheap but available from, like, day 3.
