You know, looking at Yammi's menu on the ship,I can't help but drool. Some people eat to live. I,meanwhile, live to eat. Most of Yammi's offerings sound incredibly delicious. Now,factoring out the obviously alien and pedestrian, two of her recipes stand out.
-Sweet Soup. Is it more than just chilled coconut milk? It had better be; That stuff's a laxative.
-Nobblur. It's like if pirogi and tourtiere had a baby of delicious,by the sounds of it. On a bed of rice! What's not to love!?
Everything else is pretty pedestrian. The Pepper Pie's a tourtiere with peppers in it. The Marbled Steak is,duh,a steak. The Snack Tray's just an hors d'eurves platter. Fried Tulpe's fish n' chips,a meal I'm intimately familiar with. Yammi's Sammich is a baked super sub. The Ginder Fish is grilled and honeyed salmon, and I won't insult your intelligence by telling you what the New Texas Milkshake is.
So,to any cooks and/or chefs in the forum,I ask you a question; Do the Sweet Soup and Nobblur sound like something that is both possible for us modern humans to make, and would they taste good? If you've already taken a stab at either, would you be willing to share your recipe? I'm always itching to try new things.
