I'm a slow reader so I usually end up skimming walls of text and in cases like this sometimes I miss the important point. Default train of thought at that point was that after listening to her story of how she butchered 60 people the seemingly endless waves of enemies might serve as some sort of parallel so I just kept going. Figured they would stop eventually like at the orc lodge or the ghost dogs.
