Willpower/Psionics

I'm new to this game, the character creation hints at psionic powers. Is anything like that in the game, and if not, is there any real reason to invest in willpower?

Player Psionics are not in. It's been talked about occasionally, but nothing was finalized. I haven't heard anything about them cancelling the idea. A 'Broken Psi-Amp' is a possible reward from a side quest It's currently useless. Uveto was meant to be the introduction to Psionics, but nothing really came of it. That said, they spent a year working on porting the game to JavaScript rather than making progress, so maybe they'll do something soon(ish). They have a huge backlog, though.

Ice Queen, but only if you've done Kara's 2nd quest on Myrellion.

Willpower gives defense against Lust attacks (1pt = 0.2 Lust Defense) and is occasionally used in opposed checks.
