Cait's brand of the harlot could have some effect in protecting her too, on top of its other effects. Demonic corruption is a new enough thing that I doubt anyone would know if it can do such a thing in-universe. As for Brint... I have no convenient excuse, unless he's getting blessed on the regular just to be safe. I don't think he's particularly religious at all. The PC might be more of a corruption sponge thanks to their mutability, too. If it takes them 50 corrupting acts to lose their soul, it could take someone else 200. There's no in-universe lore that says why those characters don't corrupted, but those are my best Watsonian theories to explain it.</blockquote>
