Which should I use: animate CC or the gaming sdk?

Hi, I want to start making text-based flash games like fenoxo here and I wonder which of these two programs I should use.

There's also the possibility of downloading an older version of animate CC called: Flash professional. (which I've seen mentioned, but animate seems to be the newest version and I've never heard of it)

Might not be the best place to start. Consider using Twine or Ren'Py instead.

You might be better off doing it in some other program than flash seeing as Adobe is killing it off in 2020.

yeah flash is no good
go for HTML5 or WebGL if you want to learn something for both browsers and mobile, otherwise Renpy is a good place
