What we would like to see related to the Dragon TF

One of the things I hope to see related to it is some unique dialogues with Kasyrra, Aileh, Freyja, Ashe, Dragonlyn, Byvernia and the majority of the salamanders NPCs with your dragon PC. Also hope that we get some dragon related abilities, maybe even make it where if we learned Kas's dragon breath ability from using Mirror Stance, we can use it around lvl 4-6 instead of 10 cause we have the draconic organs we needed to make it easier to use repeatedly. And maybe some unique interactions that some NPCs have that are similar to when you become either a Valkyrie or Kitsune.

We won't get any of this, because the Dragon TF is like every other non-soulbind TF in the game. So no dragon abilities either. This has already been discussed and talked about by the devs. For all intends and purposes you aren't even a dragon, because it isn't a dragon TF it's a Dragon-morph TF.

There'll be unique reacts from a couple of NPCs, but no mechanical features.
I'll gladly admit I was wrong, but I'll also admit that I'm pleasantly surprised by this. Based on how it was described in previous comments, it looked very much as if it would just be another run of the mill TF. So I guess I assumed that just meant it would be just that, a normal run of the mill TF with no reaction like every other TF that wasn't a soul-bind.

Even the soul bound TFs barely get a reaction either.

Because frankly they didn't need to. People don't know a ton about kitsune, and wouldn't understand the importance. And even then, the entire den reacts in their own ways, so there's no small amount of reactions on that front. On the other hand, basically all the Valkyries reacted, as well as Sander and our favorite blonde paladin. Compared to being the kitsune champion, almost everyone knows what the Valkyries are, and they know that Lumia takes plenty of people to become her warriors. So to them, outside of those that worship Lumia, it won't really be something that surprises them and that they know nothing about.

So there's quite frankly more than enough reactions for both TFs, and while there could always be more, to say there's barely any reactions at all would be an outright lie.

That reminds me. It would be interesting seeing Daliza's reaction to a Dragon-Morph PC considering her family history with dragons and her love for dragons so if you're in a relationship with her, she'll probably either swoon over you or almost literally worship the ground you walk (okay, maybe not that extreme). I can see Dragonlyn reacting to a dragon PC as a "proper" mate since they'll both be draconic at that point. Aileh might get even more turned on than usual with your character and maybe even more rough and predatory. Not sure how Kas will react since she doesn't really have much of a opinion on dragons other that she does like them somewhat considering Aileh and her sibling's origins. Freyja will probably have a blast with the whole thing. And I'm really looking forward to Byvernia's reaction since it was always mentioned in the wiki that she'll have some unique (albeit hostile) interaction with draconic and wyvern PC on first encounter and probably repeat encounters. That Dragon TF update will most likely come with the event of visiting her lodge that was mentioned in the wiki. I don't remember how you trigger the conversation if its even in there. I just remember it saying in the wiki that Byvernia can talk about the lodge and how you can visit her after she marks it on the map (I think) at a later date.

Then what's the point in the soul bound TFS? Only decent one imo is the Valkyrie TF because of Annika and her reaction and even then it's not enough to lose out on Kas loving. I expected Ryn and Elthara to at least acknowledge the champ if they took such a life changing decision.

She's definitely the NPC that will have the most reactions to it (and indeed the dragon TF will probably come out right around the same time as a small xpak for Daliza, with at least one new scene for her + dragonPC. There have been several people who have expressed an interest in calling her your treasure and then banging her on top of your hoard XD

This quite frankly isn't the place to vent this frustration. This is a debate specifically about Dragon-Morph PCs, and I have a feeling that no matter what's said about the SB TFs it won't ever be good enough for you anyways. Considering that for most people the game is played for free, (No Steam purchase or Patreon membership) I think people should just be thankful for all the hard work all the devs and authors put into the game, including some authors that go out of their way to add SB reactions in their content.

Sure one is allowed to have an opinion about aspects of the game, but if you're going to complain about something have the decency to do so in a place meant for complaints, or is at least meant for discussion about the aspect you want to complain about. Not in a thread about a topic completely unrelated to your problem.

I expect Ryn will react to it in the way you're probably thinking (she already has scenes that acknowledge it right now) whenever marriage and/or children come up, since that's when the lifespan-extending aspect of soulbinding is going to become relevant.
There have been several people who have expressed an interest in calling her your treasure and then banging her on top of your hoard XD
How do dragons determine hierarchy, I wonder? Would Dragonlyn bang the Champ while they're banging Dally, because she has the biggest... hoard?

So no At-will/Encounter power related to the TF?
Nope. They removed all race/TF combat powers when they removed tail whack. If I recall correctly, it was done so that no TF was superior to others simply because it provided a combat advantage or ability that other races/TFs wouldn't have available to them.

Granted I might remember incorrectly, but I'm pretty sure that's why.

Non-soulbind powers were always planned to be extremely limited and cosmetic (soulbinds trade flexibility for some unique features but those powers are still designed as sidegrades rather than outright superior options) but Tail Whack was the only one that ended up being created and they decided to axe it because it was a silly exception that people kept pointing to and begging for more and it was easier to just shut the whole argument down by removing it entirely.

No, like, full Kitsune comes with a unique ultimate (it's the one kiyoko has) from Kero's gift and Blue flame Blade stance from Nanako.

Full Valk also gives you an encounter and an At-will (iirc), via Best Girl Annika after the TF.

Was hoping for the fire-breathing that Kas can do. (Without mirror stance shenanigans. Because !RomKas or death)

There may well be some other way to get it in the future (a Tome at least) but even at this point there are two ways to learn it via Mirror Stance other than from Kas; Dragonlyn (which also can rule out certain players) and the Hydra boss in the Temple of Challenge.

Those races are soul-bind races, not ordinary TFs. That's why they provide abilities, and it's also why it's probably unlikely that the dragon-morph will provide any at all.

So I already know we aren't getting any powers from the dragon-morph tf, but will we get an extended lifespan like the soulbound forms?

Does that fall under a normal tf giving an enhancement or is that undecided yet?

As far as I know, and I might very well be wrong so absolutely take what I say with a grain of salt, that won't be the case. The only two TFs I know for sure will have an impact are Valk and Kitsune, because they're 'full' TFs and not just the champ changing physically skin deep due to how mutable they are due to the accident at the temple. I'm pretty sure the other TFs are skin deep, and as such doesn't change life span.

With the dragon-morph getting unique dialouge it might be possible, but I suspect that in every other sense than those conversations, the dragon-morph will be like every other normal TF. Again, grain of salt. I'll be the first to admit that it's very possible I'm wrong.

It would make sense for it to extend our lifespan though since the Dragon-Morph TF is kinda close to literal draconic blood.

As I said, I might be wrong. But I wouldn't hold my breath for it, since every other person wouldn't be able to change as far as I know regardless of the blood being draconic. That still goes to show that it's at least partially due to the champ being mutable, which again raises the question whether or not the TF is skin deep or not.

Kinu and Kohaku would disagree HARD.
Kitsune are known and often feard because they can be pretty agressive while searching for food (like Frostwood bunch even don't care that we don't want it (that kinda go against equivalent exchange) and disregard fact that we claimed).

Kinu say that she use disguise in Hawk cuz' of that.

Also + for this thing - we knew for a fact that they don't like harpys either, but don't care then it's PC (even no-name NPC are player-sexual).

They still don't know a lot about kitsune. They see them as monsters, and refuse to acknowledge that they're complex people underneath the label of monster that they've been branded with. Just because they fear the kitsune, doesn't mean they know anything about them. If anything, that said fear is born exactly because they don't know anything about them.

And at the end of the day, they don't know enough about the kitsune to know what it means for the champ to be the champion of their trickster God. Do remember that prior to the champ, my understanding is that Keros hasn't had an outright champion so the champ is literally the first of their kind.

But as I've previously said, this isn't the place to have this conversation. This is a thread about the Dragon-Morph, not a thread about the kitsune and the kitsune champ, a thread for the Valkyries, or a thread for the mander champ when they're introduced to the game.

Good evening everyone^^.

I'm not sure if we ask the question but I take de risk (sorry not really habit with forum) but have we think if Daliza love so much dragon well ask her if she desire to become Dragon girl himself with the TF? After all, she's link with the dragon artefact so prehaps it's can be a good idea like Cait with leothran after all? O my god Dal dragon girl, a mate we can love and preg in the wayfort^^ we have only one dragon girl who become girlfriend and soo many with the other race like kitsune, lupine ect^^ so why have a other one too balance the choice^^. Well it's just a idea but why not XD.

I actually used an edit save and gave myself. All Dragon parts of course they still call me a Chimera. But when I loaded the save, I got Tail Whack as an ability. So, I don't think they got rid of Tail Whack. Plus, if you what Dragon breath you could just use an Edit Save and give yourself dragon breath.

Even if you give yourself Dragon Breath, you still can't use it until you're lvl 10 and we can only get to lvl 7 for now.

Yeah, that's true it's so frustrating. But that also mean when you can get to lvl 10. You have a backup option to give yourself Dragon breath. I'm on the romance path with Kas so getting it from her. Is a no go, I don't feel like putting up with Evelyn sub only crap. I haven't gone towards that door. So, edit save here I come when it's time. That way it's also not just sitting in your ability menu teasing you. That you can't use it yet it's irrigating.

Ngl. I was hoping this recent update to include the Dragon TF since they mentioned that they recently started working on it.
