I am so damn confused by thickness. What the hell even is it?! At first, I thought it meant how fat your character is, but I wasn't sure so I did more research (it could be how fat the pc is, and I am just overthinking this). By using the custom mannequin feature under appearance, I thought that it was just shoulder width. but then I read somewhere that its how fat the pc is and now I am confused as all shit! Someone please explain this shit to me.

Have you read the wiki article? I think the example builds are good when it comes to envision or build a Steele.
Thickness is probably best defined as mass. It has some relation to fat in that some of the lower tone high thickness descriptions suggest a non-zero level of subcutaneous fat, but looking at the higher end of tone in context of thickness shows that even low levels of body fat can exist in very high levels of thickness (bodybuilders like Arnold showcase this as they are very "thick" while having almost no body-fat (which isn't healthy))
