Warlock of Lust - adult RPG/strategy

I have started with a development of a new adult game called Warlock of Lust. In this game, you will take a role of a young prince, who was ousted by his mother, queen regent and exiled to an abandoned castle. You will soon find out, that there is an ancient temple under the castle, which belongs to a goddess of lust. She will agree to help you reclaim your throne and in return, you will turn first your servants, than entire kingdom into sex crazed fanatics.

Game will have character building mechanics, such as skill tree and attributes, combat system similar to moba games (pushing lines with minions towards enemy base) and management elements - upgrading castle, improving minions... There will be common fantasy races (elves, orcs, centaurs, werewolves...) and monsters (imps, trolls...).
Player will be able to choose a path (diplomacy, or warfare; fear or love) and fetishes will be based on it. Some of them:
- m/f, m/f/f, f/f
- domination, servants, brothel, harem
- bdsm, prisones, slaves
- sex with monsters (including breeding mechanics)
- incest (mother, sister, aunt, cousin)
- gore, blood (optional)

Game will be a real time, fully 3D. All sex scenes are animations with rotatable camera and options, how the scene will proceed (what position to use, where to cum...). Game will be free, with some non-essential bonus content for Patreon supporters. First release for public is planned around summer 2018. Until than, Patreon supporters will have access to some bonus content from game development process and pre-release versions.

Ok I tried the demo and I have a few recommendations, hope it helps!:

1º The first one is kind of obvious but... patreon has banned incest content from their site, so it would be better if you just don't add scenes in which the MC has sex with his family. From what I have seen tiny changes like making it step-mother/sister/aunt doesn't work at all. I'm saying this because you may have problems in the future related to this.

2º It would be nice to have a tiny introduction before going fully into the game, as you can understand it's quite an impact just clicking new game and bam, you are the character and time is passing, even more it would be nice to start the game while being on the bed and having a tiny conversation with the maid, something like:

Maid: Hmmm, my prince, ready for round 3?

Character options:
-I can't, my mother asked for my presence in about 5 minutes
-Well I don't see why not...

The first option you would leave and the second gives the sex scene.

3º The dialogue with the queen is kind of rushed and it doesn't take into consideration if the player decided to use his time having sex with the maid or not. Personally I would change it to something like:

*If you did arrive on time:

Queen: Oh, it seems at the very least you still value punctuality over your lust.

You: Well, I suppose you didn't call me only to remind me again of how lustful my actions are.

Queen: Indeed, I have called you because I have decided that you will not be the rightful heir anymore, instead it will be your sister who will have that right.

Character options:
-What?, how can you decide it like that and even more choosing that prude!
-I... I can't say that I'm not disappointed, but I will respect that decision.

1º option:

Queen: That's your sister! and if she defends this kingdom with the same ferocity as she defends her virginity I will be able to rest easy.

You: But...

Queen: No buts! I have prepared a place for you to go, taking a long vacation may help you get a hold of yourself.

2º option:

Queen: Perhaps I was too hasty making this decision... listen, I will have you go to a castle with quite a long distance from the capital, if you show remorse of your past actions I may make you again my heir.

*If you didn't arrive on time:

Queen: You are a lustful beast! I asked you to arrive half an hour ago but you weren't able to even do such a simple thing!

You: Well it's only half an hour, it isn't the end of the world...

Queen: Enough! From now on you aren't my heir anymore and I will make you go to a place more appropiate for you.

You: Wait, then who will be your heir then!?.

Queen: Your sister of course, now leave!, I have wasted too much time with something like you.


Something like this could have tiny effects on the initial difficulty of the game, meaning that if you don't arrive on time the queen will be furious with you so she will be more vigilant against your actions, however you will earn the initial exp from having sex with the maid and you could receive one initial level up.

If you arrive on time but don't accept the decision the queen will be cautious, meaning that she will be a bit vigilant against you but you will gain a bit of the noble's support.

If you arrive on time and accept her decision the queen will not be vigilant against you, so you can actually take quite a few covert actions before she starts to be vigilant.

4º I suppose it's kind of normal in a new game but the text goes out of the box, be it normal conversations or dialogue options.

5º The flow of the castle quest about the legend is kind of too fast, you ask two people and you already have all the information that you need.

thanks for suggestions. about the incest and patreon, you are correct and it is a concern. however, the mother and sister will be kind of a final bosses, so their sex scenes will be added probably much later, when the game is near finished. that would be maybe a year from now, or even later, so i will cross that bridge when i get to it. maybe the rules will be different by than, or i will not propagate the game on patreon by then so there will be no reason for the ban.

thanks for the suggestions about the text. i'm not a native english speaker so there may be deficiencies in my work in this. maybe i will hire a professional writer if the project will be successful, as the game will be quite extensive and there will be a lot of text.

Warlock of Lust is now officially not in a demo stage, as the first version - v0.1 is out. The game is now more use-friendly for new players as I have added plenty of in-game tips that will guide you through. Game has a new combat system. You are asked to raid a nearby monastery of priestesses of light to get some sex slaves and your first noble captive, high priestess Pyia, to have fun with. Combat is a real time tactical action where you summon minions to guard you, while you cast spells from the background. Yeah, at this stage it's still basically a demo. So many features are described but not implemented yet- you can't refurbish the castle, so gold is useless except buying those two cheap one-off gifts for Ella and bribing Hesy to relax her standards for you, but that's good because you can't get gold anyway (except for those rewards from the 2 raid missions) since you can't summon imps (or anything, except for a Succubus to pat Pyia with a paddle while she's in the torture chamber). All you can do is fuck Ella, Pyia, Hesy, the handmaiden and get a handjob from Elaine. There are only 2 skills, one of which does nothing, the other of which is just mandatory for advancing story with certain characters and does nothing else. And the combat system is frankly terrible, although I imagine it'll be better once you have more options and can improve your stats. Basically I think you really need to focus on getting the core gameplay experience (including repeatable activities i.e non-story based raids) implemented before anything else.

On the positive side, the character models are surprisingly considerably better than in Total Seduction- the faces are a lot less doll-like and the bodies are smoother and sexier. Ella and Elaine in particular are very attractive. I'm quite looking forward to fucking Anna, especially in a threesome with her daughter. I was also quite impressed with the animation of Pyia's sexy dance, although I don't know why you can only order her to do her most-recent activity after you complete the previous one (you can't order her to dance, masturbate, let you finger her, or suck you off once you've fucked her).

Incidentally, there was a bug in her blowjob scene- when you get up to what was presumably the part where you'd cum, it instead cut back to the end of her fingering scene (when she squirts while you finger her). Must have got the flag wrong there.

Huh, I ended up playing this version (the first one I tried) before you actually promoted it, making it the version I already gave feedback to above. I will add that it's a bit disingenuous claiming you "recover a powerful artifact" because what you're recovering is basically a MacGuffin- it does literally nothing for you, it's just a thing you have to click on in order to progress with Elaine's story and get access to her pussy.

I think I implied this before, but to make it clear, I really think you should be focusing on fully implementing the core systems like mining gold, restoring the castle, implementing repeatable raids etc rather than going off on tangents writing side stories just to get more girls into the game, because that's where the real meat of the gameplay is (for one thing, you can't even bang Elaine repeatedly after you get her the bow, making that content a dead end).

Well, you are right - the game mechanics (which is not completely there yet) is needed to fully experience the game, however this is an adult game and from my experience, people need to have enough adult content in it to at least try it and decide if they want to support the development. That is why around 2/3 of new content I add with each version is adult content (sex scenes, new characters...) and 1/3 is actually building the game mechanics. this is a third update and i spend roughly 1 month for each update, so the game is really in development only for 3 months right now. When I work on a game approx. 2-3 hours each working day (it is not my full time job), the summary for the game is that I have spent cca. 120 hours developing the game, from which 80 hours to for modeling and animations and 40 hours implementation. As I'm the only person working on this, you cannot expect miracles yet. If the game will gain more support and more invested time, it will grow accordingly.

ps. The bow, as well as the elven princess will play more significant role in next versions.

Well it's your game, but all I can say is that I disagree. Yeah, we're here for the porn... but porn is what you put in a game, the game needs to be there first to hang the porn on. You're not just making a ren'py visual novel here, you're trying to make a game with actual gameplay, so that's your unique selling point. You need to at least flesh out the bulk of the game's skeleton (upgrading your castle, developing your character, summoning demons) before you start putting meat on the bones, otherwise you're going to end up with a boneless heap of flesh that can't stand up.

But like I said, it's your game. I'm just telling you what I think of it.
