Okay, here's the pitch.
The PC finds an experimental version(or upgrade component) of the Sleep Fapnea device in the labs on Zheng Shi that allows you to enter other people's dreams or pull them into your own. (Think, the machines from Inception)
Basically, if you're sharing a bed with one or more crew members, or even just NPCs that sleep in your bed with you at some point, you can hook yourselves up to it (with or without their knowledge) and share dreams with them as you sleep.
This essentially allows writers to write scenes that don't fit into the game anywhere else because of continuity or logic, while still allowing the PC and their lovers to experience them canonically, unlike if they just wrote the scenes as in-game smut stories.
Want to write a scene where Anno is having one of those dreams where she's giving a presentation to all of her co-workers at Steele Tech R&D, only to realize she forgot to wear any clothes?
(Of course knowing Victor Steele that kind of thing might not even be out of the ordinary at his company.)
At which point the PC shows up, collars her, and forces her to parade around on all fours in front of all her old co-workers. (Also Syri, Kaede, her parents, and anyone else who might be there because "dream logic".)
Want to write a scene where the PC is a virginal Catholic schoolgirl attending Sera's old religious high school? At which point a younger, still human, Sera seduces you, turns into a demon, and then corrupts you into one too?
Want to write a scene where the PC is an evil warlord who's enslaved poor, innocent Kase?
Want to write a Bad End scene but don't have an actual end to put it on? Just frame it as being a nightmare.
Want to write a scene where the PC and Kiro are high seas pirates getting tentacle raped by a kraken?This would be the place to put it.
Also, because the technology is experimental, the dreams don't all need to be written the same way.
Maybe sometimes one, both, or neither of the dreamers are lucid in the dream.
Maybe sometimes the PC's mind melds with the other dreamer and they experience the dream in the first person as them, thinking they are them while they're in the dream, so that the writer can just write a wet dream from the point of view of the NPC. (With the PC getting to experience it vicariously.)
Also also, the dreams don't all need to be sex dreams obviously. Writers could essentially incorporate flashbacks into the story this way, as the PC Views the NPC's dreams about past events in their life.
(Or just write goofy, funny, dreams for laughs of course)
