While trying to visit Anyx to look at the new scene, I keep getting an error message.

I can't seem to find this issue. If you have sample text before this crash, I may be able to track it down more accurately.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure of what you mean by sample text, so I just attached my save file if that'll help.

I saved outside the secretary tile, so you just have to go down to Anyx and see if that triggers.

Nvm, I just redownloaded the backer's version, deleted all of the old files, and copied the fresh dl's files into the folder that I keep the game and it's not crashing anymore.

Which is kind of odd, I did that when I encountered the crash the first time, but it kept crashing till I just redid it now.

I'm not 100%, but it might have been fixed when I had checked it, and the hotfix that was recently released must have carried the change through, fixing your issue.
