While on New Texas and removed Allure Brand Pheromonal Body Spray and was not able to be equip while on planet but once on my ship(still on planet) was able to be equip.
This seems intentional, since it's "sexual combat" weapon (provides bonus to Sexiness) and weapons can't be carried in New Texas past the customs check.
