Unable to change weapons mid-combat

I played a weapon-swapping smuggler before, but noticed that I couldn't do this in the JS edition (new save).
When I press "Inventory" mid-combat, I'm able to use consumables, but I'm unable to change weapons (There is no use/equip button when a weapon is selected).

Played on Android (OnePlus 7 Pro) using Firefox.

I've passed this on to parties that can hopefully address this.
