Overview:
You are a 20 years old young man, who lives with Kelly, Sarah and Anna. During a hazing challenge for your new course, you get into an accident that causes you to become infected with a parasite called Pravitas. To your knowledge, the Pravitas is impossible to be removed and requires hormones released during sex to remain alive. The more hormones the Pravitas absorbs, the stronger it becomes. The stronger the Pravitas becomes, the more it can do.

In this game you start out as an innocent virgin, but as time goes on the Pravitas will slowly cause you (and those around you) to become more corrupted, releasing the inner desires and eventually even fabricating desires in order to facilitate its food intake (a.k.a sex hormones).

This is a game that aspires to have an actual story line, instead of just fucking for the sake of fucking. The style of the game will be a sandbox of sorts. Time cycles will be used, as well as stats and money. The game will eventually have quite a lot of random events.

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce to you guys my game: Unexpected Expectations!

This is my very first project, so I hope you guys will enjoy it! While I'm mostly active in the Discord, I will do my best to be active here too!

The game itself is entirely free and I have no plans to paywall it in the future! If you guys have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer you guys!

What's in this version?

I used this version in order to flesh out Kelly. This means that all of her events were looked at and updated accordingly. This also means that this version is light on new content. There is one big event with Jenna. This event with Jenna will be the base for Kelly's next events. In Jenna's event, there will be new animations, this will be standard from now on.

What's next?

The more I develop this game, the better I get and the more I learn. Originally I wanted to update Sarah's events and start working on Linda/Rachel/Vanessa, but that was before I learned how to make an MP4 file act like a GIF, this means that quality is much higher and the size is much smaller.

My objective for next release will be to replace all GIF with MP4, this means starting from scratch with every almost every single one of them, this is very time consuming. Right now the Folder is about 750 MB, once I finish it should be around 200 MB.

I had two choices, either I could have continued normal updates while slowly changing the GIF, or just pull off the bandage and get it over with. I chose the latter, hope you guys understand. As such, next version will be 0.4.5. In the next version I also plan to allow you guys to play Online.

Now, if I'm able to, I will also try to add Sarah's event into this same patch, but I can't promise anything.

What's in this version?

In this version I spend a good chunk of my time (around 14 hours) updating almost all of the GIF files into MP4 files. While I could have taken the lazy way out and just converted them, I decided that I wanted to upgrade the quality of the animation of most of them, so I did it from scratch.

This was very important for two reasons. The first was that the size of the game would slowly become unmanageable, because GIF is just a cancer of a format. The second is that it will now allow me to have better quality animations and in some cases, even longer animations! With this update, the size of the game went from almost 800 MB to only a little over 100 MB!

At first I was going to release a version 0.4 Enhanced, but I felt that it would be too barren of an update, so I kicked some things I had to do to next week in order to be able to focus on finishing Sarah's events. She is not complete in terms of where she stands at the moment.


What's next?

Now I will focus on Linda/Rachel/Vanessa. I'm going to add a way to visit them twice a day (some days they may not be present), with a little more on weekends. Following this, the corruption event for Rachel will be added. Hopefully I can all of that in the next couple of versions.

Once I finish that, I will then start working on the "Outside" events and then, finally, I will work on evolving Pravitas to Level 2. I'm going to keep this part a secret though.

What's in this version?

In this version I've focused on expanding the story of the girls you meet at school (Linda/Rachel/Vanessa). For now I've allowed you to view all the House Intro events (they happen once you reach Love Level 1 at Late Afternoon in school).

After seeing one of the events, you will now be able to pay them a visit. In order to visit them, you must go to the House area and give them a call! If they are not available, they will tell you that they are busy. But keep in mind that the option will only show during the appropriate hours!

The hours to visit are as follow: Mondays to Fridays (Late Afternoon and Evening) and on Sundays and Saturdays (Late Morning, Afternoon and Evening).

I've added 6 new events for Linda and updated 1 event for Vanessa.

Next I need to finish Linda's events, since I planned to have around 9 events total for House Visit. I will also start adding events for Rachel. Followed by that, I will add events for Vanessa.

What's in this version?

I've got a bit of bad news for you all. On Tuesday one of my coworkers didn't show up for work, which netted me with overtime. We found out latter that day that he has Covid. That means that he has a 14 day period that he won't be able to come back to work, so I have to help pick up his slack. I've been working overtime since Tuesday and it will be the same this week. So the updates will be a little bit on the smaller side.

Now, about this version. I focused on trying to get, at least, Rachel out. There are a total of 6 new events with her. Hope you guys enjoy it. I've also fixed that the Sat/Sun events were set to Afternoon. This was a mistake, it should have been Late Afternoon.

My time will be constrained, but I think I should be able to finish Vanessa's house events by next week. Hopefully, by the week after, I won't be doing overtime anymore.

What's in this version?

This version is on the smaller side of things. Besides the fact that I've been busy as hell with work this week (here's praying for this nonsense to stop next week), I've stumbled on a huge game changing problem: Vanessa, a.k.a. Harley Dean.

I always knew that she was very light on the amount of content she had done, but I didn't quite grasp how light it was. I spent a good 8 hours scouring the internet trying to find good quality pictures and the high quality video that goes with it, then editing them all to fit into the game. That was my whole week and a small portion of Saturday. This will become slightly better once I start focusing more on the porn aspect of the game (once you reach level 2 with Pravitas), but it still is an issue.

With that said, I was only able to make 4 events for her. Do keep in mind that visiting Vanessa is the first thing you unlock in a fresh playthrough, so it might look kinda weird from the standpoint of the developed MC that visits Linda/Rachel. I will be adding more events once you reach the next level and they will be all about sex, so you guys have that to look forward to.

I usually don't like to tell when the events happen, but in this case I feel that they are too few, so I will just write it here:

The next update should be the last one before the BIG update. This big update will be evolving Pravitas to Level 2 and it should involve a lot of story (around the same as the intro). Once Pravitas is level 2, you will be able to reach the next level of love/corruption with all the other characters. This means sex scenes with Linda/Rachel/Vanessa. This also means bigger teases with Kelly/Anna/Sarah (we getting there!).

What's in this version?

In this version you will be finally able to do Rachel's corruption quest! This marks the last thing (if we ignore Outside Events for Family) that was necessary before we move on with the story and allow the MC to become more corrupted (and the story to become lewder)! Most of the added events were proofread, but a few weren't, so if there's any typo, feel free to report it in my discord!

Another thing I would like to talk about is the feeling of "grindyness" . I do understand that, just because my spreadsheet shows me that the game isn't actually grindy, the reality is that it's only applied when someone is doing a full playthrough. If you just finished an update and you want to play the next update, it will feel grindy, because there's no way to skip days. As such, I've added a way to end the day. If you go into your room, there will now be an option to end your day. Hope that helps!

I would also like to give a shoutout to OldOtaku for helping with the test! Also, I'm sorry for the delay, for all of those that were expecting a release on Sunday.

What's next?

Next is the big update! I'm going to delay the Outside Events for later and just focused on getting Pravitas to Level 2. This event will be long and as such I expect that I will need at least two weeks to finish it. But rest assured that I'm certain that it will be release still in this month!

What's in this version?


In this version you will be able to finish the first part of the game! This means that you can finish Pravitas' Quest and have her evolve! Her evolution means that your stats will have a higher cap, allowing you to get further with the girls (once I write it)!


Besides the Pravitas' Quest story, you will also be able to choose 3 Bad Endings! But don't worry, once you choose the bad ending, you will be able to read it and just go back to the story (magic). The characters that will have bad endings will be: Anna, Kelly and Sarah!


As a side note, this patch adds a total of 19k words. If we take into account the code, I would say that, story wise, it adds around 13k words! So there's around an hour of content, depending on your reading speed!


I've also worked on the UI. I spent the first week and a half researching and trying to code it. Unfortunately it's much harder than I thought, so I was only able to get a small part of the UI done. Over all, it does look nicer, but I will continue to work on it!


I've also tried my hand on making larger sex scenes. Let me know in my discord what you guys think of it!

For the next week, I will be focusing on the UI. I can't promise that I will be able to finish it (or even upgrade it), but I feel that it's something that is necessary for the game.

What's in this version?


This version was mostly focused on upgrading the UI from the standard Twine game to a more unique one. This took an ungodly amount of time, so I do hope you guys like the changes. The most prominent change was to how the menus work. Instead of forcing you to open a new passage, they are now Pop-Ups that won't interact with the passage you are currently on! So you can now check your Relationship/Quest/Characters/Help without disrupting your game!


As per popular vote, this build allows you to increase Anna's Love Level, through her quest! This quest is slightly larger than usual, so I do hope you guys enjoy it!


A few new players were having issues with getting the Camera, thus I added a nice little hint in both Rachel's Quest and Anna's Quest. I've also received a few complaints of how Corruption Level for the MC isn't obvious, so you can now see it in your bedroom!


And last, but not least, I've also have done a few gameplay changes. After evolving Pravitas, you will no longer be able to fail tasks, such as Swimming and Studying. I've also made it so that you will get more money from Programming once you reach breakpoints in intelligence!


I would like to thank Lemboss for going through the Intro and pointing out grammatical issues that he has find! As such, the Intro should be mostly typo free (finally)!

What's next?


Next I will focus on fleshing out content. This means the MC will grow bolder in his Corruption Interactions (such as peeking) and I will also flesh out Anna's events in order to better represent her new love level!

• Fixed an issue with the UI Bar that made it not work on Mobile.

What's in this version?


This version was focused on content padding. What does that mean? It means that, after reaching Love Level 2 with Anna, I had to update some of her common events to better represent this new love level. I find it important in order to make the game more living.


I've also changed how the versions are handled. Since every Big Event will require content padding, I will make it so Big Events are 1.X and Padding are 1.X.5.


What's next?


Next I will start working towards Anna's Corruption. I will try to get it out by Sunday, but unfortunately I'm already behind on schedule (reason was posted on Patreon and Discord), so I can't guarantee it. But I will do my best!

What's in this version?


In this version you will be able to do Anna's Corruption Quest! There won't be anything other than that, so you will have to wait for another patch in order to have more fun.

What's in this version?


This version was focused on the content padding for Anna. As such, she should now feel "complete" and almost every event of hers should have been updated to either Love Level 2 or Corruption Level 2.


This version took longer to finish than usual for a few reasons, namely IRL issues (end of month; start of month; black friday; etc...) and the fact that I had to add a lot of MP4 content (this patch increases the size of the folder by 20%!).


I would also like to thank @OldOtaku for testing this version!

Next I will start working on Kelly's Corruption Quest. Hopefully I can release it by next Sunday.
