My female characters are able to walk around Tavros Station with their tits out. But only if they have "normal amount", my demon-morph Steele with four breasts cannot and has to sneak back to ship.

Did more testing.
Gave my half-kaithrit extra pair of boobs = instant no nudity allowed! Back to your ship, you filthy animal!
Then I did same with half-ausar and pure human Steeles = no problems, show dem diddies to all!

So, so far cats and demons are forbidden to show their extra assets to people of Tavros..?

EDIT: More testing and I think I figured out the source for this "prudishness". All characters that have trouble showing their mammaries are ported from old flash TiTS. My amazoness Steele cannot go out topless in Tavros at all, and she has normal amount of boobage.

Also, all characters affected have bugget Gray Goo Armor:
Your busty, bouncing resident bodysuit of goo. ERROR: COULD NOT FIND OBJECT "goo" is a silvery-gray bimbo programmed to seek pleasure and friendship, and who will valiantly defend you so long as you give her all the benefits that your special friendship brings.

So, any idea how to fix this?

You may need to provide your problematic save file for testing.

As for the goo armor, to fix it, just unequip and reequip the armor. That should refresh the item's description to the correct values if it is outdated.

That works, but only a while. After some trigger that I have yet to discover, name changes back to error message. Also suits name changes always to Nova, I have never named her Nova.

I'll attach saves of amazoness and demon

Thanks. I'm not sure what the issue is exactly, but the illegal nudity checks seem to work as intended from what I can tell, at least from your save files.

As far as the name being "Nova", that is the default name of the character. If you named her on your old save file, it didn't carry over to the new one since she's technically a new character after her original character script was renamed. It seems there wasn't a save version upgrade function to account for that change, so the old character was lost to the void and replaced by the one with the default name.

Because of this, I've given the goo armor an option to be renamed when you interact with her as a crew member (under the Customize option). It's just a short scene, with some varying reactions depending on the name given, but it'll allow you to rename her as many times as you want--though for role-play reasons, she'll have a cool down period of 24 hours before she can be renamed again. Hopefully that helps.

The renaming feature should appear in the next release.

And what is "illegal nudity"? Of all Steeles I have made, only these two cannot run around Tavros with their tits out. Half-kaitrith Steele here, can do, but the moment she gets more than two breasts it's illegal. She's also from Flash days.

I also did test turning male Steele to female and going topless at Tavros, there was no issues. Even after adding extra pair of breasts. That save is also from Flash (with bugged goo armor name).

Was Tavros nudity rules changed at some point? I think I tried going topless there, back when Mhen'ga and New Texas were only other places, but back then it was always illegal in Tavros.

Oh, okay, I see what is happening. The system is working as intended, so I'll explain why: When going topless, your character has non-furry/non-feathery skin, so each breast row will be counted as a "+1" to exposed body parts. Now, since this particular character has a long/prehensile tail, it will be considered as automatically giving your character coverage (so a -1 to the exposed body part count for each tail, making total exposure as 0 in this instance). Adding an extra breast row will be another +1, etc (increasing exposure)--adding more tails or wings, or getting a furred/fluffy skin type, to help with coverage will "allow" the topless character to continue in a nudity-prohibitive area (so long as the breast size isn't at the hyper-levels, they will be automatically covered).

And of course, removing clothing will expose the other private parts, adding to the exposure score. So hopefully that explains how the auto-coverage system works. It was added back in the Flash days in response to those who wanted to walk around Tavros partially nude--sorry if it caused any confusion. I'm not sure if I should make the scoring visible in the codex or anything, but I'll have to recode some stuff if I do. At the moment, the exposure scoring is supposed to be an automatic thing, so the player really has little control over it.

Well, now I'm just more confused...

Here's three Steeles I did test and my questimations of their exposure changes in [ ]
demon-morph (ported from Flash) with purple (human) skin, tail, horns and wings
4 breasts F / EE [+1 / +1]
wearing bodysuit that leaves breasts bare
EXPOSURE TOTAL= +2
TOO NUDE FOR TAVROS (unless she uses her wings to cover)

half-kaitrith (ported from Flash) with human skin, one furred tail and pair of cat ears [-1]
4 breasts HH / D [+1 / +1]
wearing bodysuit that leaves breasts bare
EXPOSURE TOTAL= +1
TOO NUDE FOR TAVROS

100% human (Javascript)
6 breasts HH / GG / GG [+1 / +1 / +1]
wearing just C-String
EXPOSURE TOTAL= +3
NOT NUDE = ABLE TO MOVE FREELY AROUND TAVROS
Shouldn't last Steele be prohibited for entering Tavros?

EDIT: I think I figured it! Hair length and styling! Human Steele had backlength hair and that apparently is enough to cover whole front. Though half-kaithrit has only long hair in ponytail and that some how is enough to cover one row of breasts... Maybe these values need more transparency... and maybe a little bit of logic too...

Ah, yes, hair length compared to the tallness of you character in combination with the hair style does play a role in automatically covering your character's chest.

I've made some edits for the next release that should hopefully show some "Partial Nudity" stats in the codex (next to the "Body Exposure Level" stat).

Please note that the grading isn't as flat as the racial scoring system is as it scores mostly based on a hierarchy of checks, so one factor can skip all others as the contributing factor for the nudity. But for the most part it should work and clue you into why a section is considered nude or if that part is already automatically covered.
