Neither of witch are asking for peoples favorite bands.

Both are general music threads, and given how they pertain to an issue that's scarcely discussed on the forums (as much as I enjoy discussing about music myself!), you could have used any of them for your little question before opening a thread with such specific question.

Sorry for the off topicness, but seeing people not using valid old threads is a pet peeve of mine.

But if they're left too long and you post you're deemed an evil necromancer

No, it doesn't. But it pushes those valid threads down the void and one step towards certain death. And we don't want to risk thread necromancy, just like JDeko pointed out. As I see it, these kind of threads should be outside that rule, but I'm no admin, you see :p

God, that song is literally hella 'mmmmm'. I believe the first song that gotten me into it was Baggage Room and that was 'UMF'

@pSYCHO
TesseracT is one of my more recent finds - some few months back. They're catchy as heck. :D

I usually just find my music randomly via youtube suggestions heh. Another notable find along with TesseracT was Cynic, but I couldn't decide to slap them on my list. I also enjoy listening to a lot of guitar albums or whatever they're called. (Shell from Oceanic, Plini, Outrun the Sunlight, etc.)

edit: Guitar instrumentals? Instrumental progressive metal? Something like that I guess!

Yerp, there's some personal stuff that is more melancholic in the ways of "be happy it happened, not sad its over" and then there are the songs from random anime that are just heart wrenching. which is odd, in a way. I'm better able to deal with something deeply meaningful to me than  "Dear You" from Higurashi.

I don't hate you at all for that.  To be honest, I mainly liked the first few songs on the album, and the rest of the songs never really grew on me.

But just to be on the safe side, which album are you talking about?  I have a bad habit of listening to their songs without figuring out which album the song was on. ^^;

sort of. i have a habit of over-sharing so i'll try to be brief whilst still explaining a bit: basically a person who genuinely saved my life, rebuilt me from an emotional wreck, and was my best friend for 8 years outgrew me in the span of a year and seems to have cut me out of her life after an awkward moment at a con [i followed her and some friends around as they did a group cosplay thinking the awkward vibes i felt were just me being lacking in self confidence when actually i was cramping their style].

So there are like 8+ years of songs that remind me of her that I really like but instead of making me sad to have been cut off by who she is now I just feel warm having known the person who loved me so dearly back then.

hmmm. Seems as though you have coped very well with the situation. I'v had many close friends ( not saying I'v gone though that same experience my self and know exactly how you feel) and many have come and gone. Many have stayed though thick and thin though. I have been lucky to have had known my best friend for...well practically since kids And he will always be there for me. Have you tried getting back in touch with her?
