what template are you referring to? Template:Items has == Description in Game == under the infobox and that's how i believe its supposed to be, and what i've been using for the item name on the tf's ive added. without naming any names, a certain other editor regularly just rearranges things internally for no particular reason, several of my edits have been simply fixing things they've fucked up for no reason

i create the page with then save. i can see how your pages ended up in the change history. the last item i created was snake shake, and you'll find that there is no == Item == at the top, only the

NOTOC
{{Infobox Item
...

Description in Game
the description in game is what I have been using for the item name as it appears in inventory.

looking through various pages, IMO, the Gush Spraypen page is how the pages should be formatted. the ==Item Name== is below the infobox. additionally, we would have to make sure to cleanup extra line breaks that end up included when the template is used to avoid the odd gaps in the Hardlight Hoop page i saw you just created.

the main visual difference is just whether the infobox is separate or below the title line of ==Item Name==. imo, it makes more sense for the infobox to be separate

edit: also, i'm currently only enabling a table of contents on pages that are of sufficient length. this will likely never apply to items, however, if the ==Item Name== is placed above the TOC, it does end up looking awkward formatting wise. the table of contents breaks up the blockquoted description for the ==Item Name== title.

I created the Hardlight Hoop page to test the template (and because it needed to be created). I see what you mean.

I'm going to go through the equipment pages and see about clearing that up.

I'm not sure of the proper spacing between Aquisition & Usage sections, though.

One line,

Or two?

i personally heavily dislike double line spacing, so i reduce it to one in the pages i've done. older pages also seem to follow the single line spacing

Besides missing and out-of-date entries, something I thought might be a good idea to have is a Category page for interactions that require a certain level. For example I know Kase only appears to people that are Level 2+ and Shizuya appears only after Stellar Tether is completed and Syri-Quest has a number of requirements, including being at level 9. The same applies to some products like Foxfire. But I can't remember each one and searching the Wiki manually is time-consuming, even with liberal abuse of CTRL/CMND + F to search pages. The problem is that some encounters have specific criteria which change them depending on what you've done earlier. Shizuya's short-stack scenes don't happen if you haven't shrunk yourself to the appropriate size beforehand. Sometimes these level/event caps aren't mentioned in the wiki, for example the Sydian Cuntboy doesn't have anything mentioning the level cap it has. There's probably more instances, but you get my point. Honestly I wouldn't even post this here and just do it myself if it wasn't for that fact that access to the wiki is restricted.

do we know why there are race pages that have both a Race and a Codex: Race page? for instance Rodenians have both and they are functionally identical, just the normal Race page includes related items, characters and trivia. on the other hand, some have one but lack the other. Mothrine only has a Codex: entry

Could someone please add information on how body part exposure is determined. It seems like something that could have its own dedicated page, but all I can find is vague descriptions of the "[Part] Exposed" flags in the Clothes and Armor pages, and a brief mention on the Wings page that some (but not all) wings can be used as covering (except for when they can't).

To hopefully be helpful here is pretty much everything I've been able to figure out about exposure and coverage:
*I think the "#Visible/#Exposed" bit (under "Personal Statistics" > "Body Exposure Level") refers to Chest, Crotch, Ass, and Everything, meaning true Full Exposure results in 4/4, but even a single Transparent Undergarment blocks the Everything exposure for both Visible and Exposed, resulting in -1/-1 on top of whatever hiding/blocking the piece itself does
*The Omnisuit counts as full coverage (i.e. you can walk around Tavros freely), even with the Fully Exposed tag at full libido. This might be a bug
*Large wings (Avian, Demonic, Dove, Draconic, Frostwyrm, and Gryvain) can be used as Full coverage, but this can be toggled off
*Tails with either the Long or Prehensile flag provide limited coverage, but unlike Wings this can't be toggled off
*The Partial Nudity sections refer to the visibility of the individual "naughty bits" left visible by your clothes
-*Chest encompasses all rows of Breasts, and each individual row is a separate bit
-*Crotch encompasses all genitalia (Penis, Balls, and Vagina), while Ass only has the Anus
-*Partial Nudity Exposure lists the "naughty bits" that are not hidden by clothes or specific parts of anatomy, aa well as how many Long or Prehensile Tails are needed to cover them
-*Partial Nudity Exposure is effectively measured in Tails, as any parts covered by other anatomy are not listed there
-*1 Tail can cover all vaginas, the anus, or 1 row of non-Hyper (more than 100 total size rating and any Nipple type besides Flat (for some reason)) breasts
-*1 Tail can cover all penises as long as they have Fur or Feathers with the Fluffy flag or at least one Penis has the Sheathed Flag and Lust is below 66
-*Without Fluff or Sheath, 1 Tail can cover up to 18" of total penis length as long as none of them are Hyper-sized (length is more than either 75% body height or 50 inches)
-*Balls I'm less certain on, but apparently one Tail can hide roughly 60 total cubic inches of ball, with that total ball space decreasing slightly the more individual balls you have, and having a Fluffy furred scrotum or Uniball gives some sort of multiplier I think...
-*Hyper-sized Breasts and Penises cannot be hidden by tails and effectively override the Partial Nudity system, making it extremely difficult to become "decent" without concealing clothes or Large Wings
--* Hyper Penises can still be hidden by a Genital Slit, and Hyper-sized Breasts apparently don't count and can be covered normally by Hair or Tails as long as they have Flat Nipples
*Partial Nudity Coverage lists "naughty bits" that are being covered by other anatomy pieces
-*Hair with a length of at least 25% of the characters height will cover all rows of Breasts, unless the hair is styled up away from the chest
--*I'm not going to test each hairstyle just to see which ones get me kicked off the station
-*Fluffy Fur can hide the Anus unless it is Fully Pumped or Hyper Pumped
-*A Genital Slit will hide all penises, regardless of size
-*Large Wings wrapped around the body are only listed as covering the Breasts, despite giving Full coverage
*The Partial Nudity system is actually the one that determines whether you're sufficiently clothed; as long as you have the proper anatomy to hide your anatomy, you can go streaking through the Merchant Deck like Lady Godiva with no repercussions
-*Equipment Body Exposure is only used to determine what bits to apply the Partial Nudity to, meaning the 4th "Everything" exposure is actually pointless (at least in this context) since it doesn't have any "naughty bits" associated with it
