Thoughts on Gil

I don't know if its just me, but does anyone here find him (pardon my language) dickish? I mean, he feels like he comes off quite rude, I mean he was fine when you first meet him. However the way he asks for your purchases just feels off to me; and when he gradually gets them, just rubs me the wrong way.

I can' believe I am saying this, but to me he actually feels unlikable. I have slept and sexed with pretty much everyone and I enjoy their interactions, but Gil just feels like a jerk!

I apologize in advance for my poor choice in words, but that is how I feel in regards to his character. What do you guys think?

That's not a simple answer, it's another question. Gil is the cuntboy on Tavros who was added recently, he will show up if you buy the more complete dog TF from Jade and leave the shop with it.

First of all thanks for your post so I actually get to learn about his existence. Secondly, well... I suppose he isn't the typical submissive beta (omega?) male and can be rather a dick. (Considering his lack of one it's rather ironic) But that just makes fucking him like the little bitch he is that much satisfying, and to be honest I found his sex scene to be pretty well written, especially since it accommodated my tauric body type and knotted dick.

Gil /is/ a spoiled rich kid, of course he isn't going to be likable. He's also putting on a tough guy act at times, like when he says he'll brag about seducing you after you finish giving him what he needs. The nicest he gets is when you first fuck him, especially if you're a virgin too, but aside from that you should remember he is sleeping with you because he wants something that isn't your body or your personality. Hence why he probably rubs you the wrong way.

By TvTropes terms I think he's meant to be the Scrappy character. Personally in my opinion, even Riya feels like a better character than Gil; I mean even after having sex with her, at least she has some semblance of courtesy and joviality (i.e making small talk, smiling, punching your shoulder, giving a bottle of water and towel, escort out of the station to name a few).

All of this despite being racist even! If you can enjoy and like a character despite these faults then you know you wrote the character well.

Though I remember Fen saying that the addition is for the sake of variety, so I still understand if sadly an overwhelmingly unlikable character, in my opinion.

To me he comes across as a lot more guarded than most NPCs. Most folks trust you for no reason and will jump into bed at your beck and call, Gil breaks the stereotype.

But that makes him even sillier a character since that means he jumps into bed with you for free stuff even though he doesn't trust you, in order to feed his a̶d̶d̶i̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ obsession with mods. At least other people seem to sleep with those they actually enjoy, unless they're the usual rape monsters you find in the countryside.
