The Demon of Ice quest [Not a bug?]

it took me a minute to register this might be a bug, and only realized it after making a post on the discussion page for the latest update due to finding this extremely odd that a fairly early game quest was unfinished....it took me a good few minutes to realize that the main story line quest of "in her footsteps" was having its description potentially over-written by the quest details for "the demon of ice" and when comparing the two after the realization, they are very similar, so I think this is instead what is going on and that this is a bug....I will reload another game save to confirm such after taking two screenshots of what I mean.

for all possible disclosures, I am running an edited save file, though I do not feel that would influence this for this particular situation. also additional information that MIGHT be useful, I did end up beating kyasara in the fight during that quest, on the off chance that might change whether or not this shows itself if trying to be reproduced.

if desired, I can post an export of my save file? not sure if the dev team would want that or not, in all honesty I actually just registered my account to make this bug report.

reloading another save file, I can now confirm that indeed the quest description IS being over-written somehow (as far as I can tell at least, I might be wrong in other words). I have not yet gotten to this quest on this save/play file, and the text is definitely what I would expect for the description of "in her footsteps" on this file.

I'm... pretty sure this is intentional? I'm not sure what you're trying to report other than the fact that "The Demon of Ice" and "In Her Footsteps" split off from the same point, but one is following Kas while the other follows Alissa

........I swear I thought that the "in her footsteps" was a quest for cait....well now don't I feel foolish...should they overwrite each other's description though?

to be fair, before someone calls me out for what might be an obvious thing for others, I play this game very seldomly, and I have horrible memory....so....I'm still calling myself out for this seemingly stupid blunder myself, but that MAYBE gives SOME context to this blunder.
