So after fighting off Teyaal's ship twice, she appeared in the Recreation Deck. I didn't think much of it at that time though I was confused by the conversation since it referenced her giving her blessing but I didn't remember anything like that.
Later, I fought her a third time and saved her, and got the scene where she gives her blessing to use the ship and to look her up in the recreation deck.
I don't have a save file I can use/share unfortunately, cause I didn't realize it happened out of order. My save files are outside of Zheng Shi so traveling back out trigger the third ship battle.
