Tentacles! Is very Ironic really.

So everyone knows of the keshema, kisima however the hell you spell it, incident. The crew mutated into horrible or kinda awesome, Tentacle monsters. I find it Ironic with a capital I, how the tentacle crew and tentacool have such similar things in common. Like the tentacles! But other then that I can see how people can use tentacool for rapid regeneration, like the parasites. They also lose their minds after enough mutation, like the parasites. Now, now I know there's no actual relation between the two but I just think it's bizarre how they're almost identical. Especially if you get the red colour pallet of the TF. I think it would be a funny idea if the tentacle crew mistook you for one of them if you were a tentacle monster race.

Tentatool "only" gives you tentacles everywhere. The Kashima incident turned the crew into various degreees. So no, they're not almost identical.
Other than that, it'd be funny to see how the crew would react to a red-skinned Tentatool-ed Steele.
