so im looking for a tail cock. i got the dicktail seedling attached but i cant properly use it for an actual penis. am i missing something?

It can only be used as your primary organ in specific scenes built around it. It's not a general replacement. Some scenes don't require it, but will take it into account.
If you want to access penis-centric scenes without a penis, use Hardlight-enabled lower undergarments.

Keep on mind that a lot of penis-centric scenes don't support hardlight underwear, either.
