.Swf doesn't seem to work

I've got flash player and chrome, yet whenever I open the CoC file with Chrome it essentially downloads itself again which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to happen? I've tried opening the file with Chrome, and also dragging the file into a chrome browser so I'm shit out of ideas. How dis work and am I dumb?

Chrome and flash don't get along anymore, so your best bet is to open CoC in the flash player. (Just tried opening it in Chrome and the same thing happened to me.)

This link will take you to the latest version to download, you'll want the 'Download the latest Flash Player Projector' link, which is my link but you can do it yourself if it doesn't work. Or if you're using another OS, choose one of those instead
