Steam version and Site version

I been Wondering, Do Site version Get public patches Like Steam version does or it's just later???

Unless you're a backer, the download and Steam versions are restricted to the newest Public patch. Backers can download new versions off the site and get a Steam code that unlocks the same content in that version of the game. The Steam update gets pushed out at the same time as the download version so Steam players don't get the update any sooner.
