Some lore questions about the gods

I took quite a long break after doing the convocation and wanted to brush up on some of the lore. I do recall that Navera was a shade or whatever those things are called before she became aware. Was she the only one that came about like this or are all the new gods the same? If not, were the origins of the other gods in the seven ever revealed in the story yet?

All of the gods were wraiths who became aware, Nareva says this explicitly when she remarks that there were exactly as many of them as there were gods in the existing pantheon, into whose roles they could neatly fit themselves.

The fate of the 'original' set of gods pre-Godswar is ambiguous but the existence of the kitsune oversoul among other things makes it clear that they existed in some form. The devs have said this isn't something they intend to explore in great detail.

yes, Nareva is a wraith, and all of the Living Gods are Wraiths, with I imagine their own unique twists on Nareva's story for how they became what they now are.

Cait (if the Champion's entourage gets to witness one first-hand) describes the Wraith that may, under the right conditions, appear inside the Winter Palace as what the holy scriptures call Demons. As opposed to say... Kasyrra, who does not match the description word for word. Which in turn has the poor sex-kitten all kinds of confused in the aftermath.
