So, how do you get Azra to take you on Expeditions?

Do you gotta raise some kind of stat or do you have to beat a certain world?

Once I have her as part of the crew I talk to her and go through all her conversations choices(just always done this so unsure if you need to do this). Then while landed/parked on a planet talk to her and say/tell her you are ready to go do her mission/s. Never had a problem doing Mhen'ga and Tarkus.

You don't need to talk at all. Once on Mhenga go to Azra and click expedition button. Once you cleared Mhenga go to Tarkus and do the same thing. And no you do not need to clear the planet first.
