So about that Savicite...

Running into a snag when trying to get some off the Male Korgonne. So I gather that I have to beat him to near death, and hope he tries to give me some as a gift?

... except as a Tech Specialist, my drone doesn't follow the Wait command, and promptly zaps him down. Any way around this, other than trying to grind Uveto without a shield, or just run around and hope I trip over some?

Yes, male korgonne can give up savicite. It's fairly rare though. I tease them up to 70-80 lust then spam the wait button. Usually they say something about giving you a gift. Wait again, and then they either shoot a mirco missile at you, offer up a canned eel that Steele declines, give you a Picardine Crystal or give you a chunk of Savicite.
