Slow download speed?

Trying to download the new public patch, but the download speed is excruciatingly slow, 20 KB/s which'll take a few hours to finish.

I remember downloading older publics in less than a few minutes. Wanted to know if it's just a problem on my end or if anyone else had this issue?

I used to have this problem, before I switched to steam.
I don't think it is the internet conection per se, could be the browser.
But yeah, you are not alone with that problem. ^^

I normally use chrome, but i also tried downloading it on opera gx and had the same problem

Just tried on edge as well (which i never use), and having the same problem

This issue pops up for some people every now and then. We did some testing and it's not the server itself, it's the connection between you and the server. Either the traffic is getting routed really poorly, or some link has degraded performance for some reason.

That's unfortunate. Lucky for me though it didn't last for very long. After a while the download went back to normal, 1~2 MB/s and was able to finish properly. ^^

Happened to me yesterday using Safari. Never happened before.
