Shade's Christmas event?

How do i trigger Shade's christmas event? Im probably just really clueless but i can't seem to find out how to trigger the event. Any help?

Well, it's been 2 hours and i don't know about you, but i'd rather not wait 4 hours to play a scene that lasts 3 minutes.

Besides, this one is more likely to be answered since it isn't hidden in another thread, and Since you are here, maybe you could help me?

Thanks. I found out what went wrong, and get ready for this.....i had the wrong version of the game.

I thought i downloaded the latest version but i guess i messed it up somehow and didn't realize.
