well I did all that, and by wonder around you mean in the area by the elevator? Cuz the wiki says that you have to be outside the city

It also depends on how you handled Shade in the KaraQuest1. If you fought her and then you didn't side with her she appears again on KarasQuest2 where you hand her her ass and then she...disappears forever?

Not necessarily.. since Shade doesn't have to appear in the quest if you sex her and do Kara's quest after getting the probe off the Queen.

I can say that I recieved the e-mail from Shade to visit her home but the option to go inside never happens. Its a recent playthrough but I haven't done anything that differently from a dozen previous playthroughs.

Does Shade have to show up in Kara Quest 2 for this event to proc? I'm having trouble getting her to show up and also be present for the probe/sister reveal in the same run. When I do either KQ2 or the probe, she goes to Uveto and isn't present for the other scene.

You need to “fuck” shade when you meet her at the bar, then she will let you pass in the pirate base, then you go to retrieve the probe, it doesn’t work if you retrieved the probe before kira quest 2

If you do Kara's quest after Shade goes to Uveto she doesnt appear at all. If you do Kara's quest before Shade goes to Uveto she appears and you wont know that you're sisters.. you cant have it both ways.
Depends on what event you want to progress. As long as you remain on Shades good side and I suppose sex her (which I always do) her home events will always happen.

Nope; I managed to get the threesome despite not encountering Shade in KQ2. Presumably, Shade finds out about it from Amara later.
