A lot of good ideas have been conceived for TiTS. Many make it in; others either don't get finished or just aren't up to snuff. This thread serves as a way to reminisce about all the creativity that may never become something greater.

You can post links to whatever you want, so long as there hasn't been an update on the doc or corresponding forum thread for... lets just say 2 months. Codex entries and seasonal contest submissions are also valid.

I'll kick us off...

Vicente the Chinchilla DILF
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...1AQ4Z_S0R7Rnnme_Y/edit#heading=h.fjctbvl7doe5
This guy was an amazing husbando. Polite, friendly, affectionate, a DILF, and and so fluffy you would want him as a stuffed animal. This is the one a miss the most. @SheepPun , if you're still out there, please, finish this awesome project!

TF Item; Spider Brew
https://docs.google.com/document/d/16VZ85hd7BID8VXvFyWJgQeVyqK4W-11RX9xKYqbMxhY/edit
The code for drider legs is actually already in the game, so this had a bit of advantage of getting in from the get-go. But the doc has been silent for a long time, and so, here we are...

Some Codex entries:
Marethians (aka Futanairy)
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...0XnHYRGSl39pBdQZU/edit#heading=h.ju2ekt1gd5e0

Lithonian Codex
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UFrqE7UeXUdIxkUpSPUrsaNPxHuF68OUmRVTz-wvIY4/edit

SLAP
Symbiotic Living Armor Project
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hT-xEZ_nFHy-cbwonMbmJx-XiKVj4or1tUFonVRnG4A/edit
A very strange, yet intriguing concept. A shame nothing came of it.

Extra Bimbo Treatment Perks
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...ancBXhMkOoL6cgWLE/edit#heading=h.4xaxixk7tewu
Intended to make the standard Bimbo Treatment variant a bit more interesting. I think it may have been submitted, but I'm not entirely sure.

A thing for Poe A:
Neon Angel
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...5nVsH6uxy5Jfhmqws/edit#heading=h.oy6m47kidv4n
A bit generic, but still pretty cool.

Tongue Fun TF
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...6oquova9cw4UNbv0I/edit#heading=h.lrxjplsm4kc0
A bit surprised this has been on the the back burner for so long, seeing how simple it seems, and the fact that Hugs made it.

I'm still sad this (and the Bruchandus Codex) was the only WorldOfDraken doc i could recover. This is what happens when stuff stews in the review pile for 2 years. 2 years. Anyways, gel lions.

Some new ones I just remembered.

Tarratch Slaver Mob

Another one made by a prominent creator that for some reason is stuck in limbo. Made by nonesuch, in case you were wondering.

Ceph - Female Cerulean

We've already got a comic-book esque villain in Badger, so why not a superhero?

Vasrin - Electric raptors

Snake snacks - by Preacher

Vera - Symbiotic Armor

@Preacher is probably one of the most creative and unfortunate guys on here. He comes up with such amazing ideas, but almost none of them come to fruition.

More like until a complete ground-up overhaul is completed, if it ever is. Among other things, it's no longer called that: the revision was made an Aegis Shipyards division. That said, I will probably never finish it.

*sad trombone* :(

Some of the projects listed are on the backlog. I think sometimes when an item gets put on the backlog it's likely Fen may forget about those items sometimes when he gets bogged down when there are other projects. Either way a friendly reminder I think would be a good thing as it reminds him he has these other items in the backlog, some of them that have been there for years.

Oh, come on, you're just being pessimistic.

I'm not. I'm being practical. All you have done is list a number of unfinished projects.

That's it.

Why list these particular ones?
How did you choose them?
What was it about each one that you liked?

You haven't really done that. You've given a brief description of some of those projects, but none of them makes a person want to jump back into working on them. But there's nothing there to really encourage a writer to come back to it. Believe me, this is coming from experience. Even something like "I loved the concept and found some of the ideas fun and exciting" would encourage a writer far, far more than just listing old works.

And yeah, it is catching more flies with honey than with vinegar, but it works. Writers get burned out on a project. Some of these approach novels in length and it can be hard for a writer to get back into a massive undertaking. And when they get burned out, they develop avoidance to go back to it because they feel like its taken too much out of them, or they feel like a failure or a dozen other reasons. And they need encouragement, boosting up of their confidences, something that gets that spark of inspiration going again.

Its not pessimism, its experience and understanding what can motivate writers and what doesn't.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Problem is, I'm not exactly one for words, so I honestly don't know what to say aside from the usual stuff like "OMG, this is so cool!" So, yeah...

Honestly, I just picked the ones I had the Google Docs for already, and just hoped people would add in all the stuff I missed.

When you link something, try picking out one thing that you liked. It doesn't have to be anything big, but a "this scene is great" or "I love this character" can go a long way. Writers, including myself, can be seriously fucking insecure about their work, so even a small thing that shows someone likes their stuff means a lot. :D

Therein lies another problem: I almost never read the docs, at least not past the first few pages.

I know, it's stupid, but I've had so many awesome experiences fucked over by spoilers so many times that I avoid them whenever physically possible. Silly, yes, but I love the feeling I get encountering a character about whom I only know their name and maybe a short description, and proceeding to learn about and interact with them. As well as finding out how they are in the sheets.

So, yeah. Trust me, I would love to go into detail and praise the ever loving fuck out of every last bit, but in all honesty, if I had to choose giving praise over ey getting the most out of my experience, I'm gonna have to choose he latter, as selfish as it may be.

Nah, I think that's pretty reasonable. I rarely read WIP stuff too, even if I like the idea, because I'd like to actually play it in the game first. But if there was something you liked a lot in those first few pages you read, or even just in the description on the submission thread, listing that would help.

Amber, the Scientist Cowgirl
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L3tjEArb4V1AY2NWS8FzviADFZsKSuISXRK5UuMZ640/edit
It's extremely refreshing to see a Treated girl that isn't a complete slut right off the bat, and who actually has a decent number of brain cells. From what little I've read of the doc, she rivals Azra in complexity and involvement, and if Slabs past work is any indication, will likely be just as engaging and sexy. I was completely hooked just from reading the description, and I absolutely cannot wait for this to be implemented.

Its good.

Just remember, you don't need to be a wordsmith. You just need to be able to say something nice. Something encouraging. You don't have to be clinical, just be kind. You're dealing with people, not human shaped writing machines.

That's another problem. My writing is very black and white. I'm either super minimalist, all dull, blunt, and to the point, or I go all out and put like 20 minutes into one sentence. There is never any in-between.

You're too kind, man. :D I haven't read or done anything with Azra, so I don't know if Amber's any rival for her in complexity - most of her stuff is pretty simple, she's just got a lot of stories to tell and one small dungeon. But thanks.

Breedwell Incubation Center (Nonesuch)???????

It's in game and everything in that doc is implemented.

He even said a day or two ago that he wanted to expand Qualle and Breedwell.
