No, I am not giving up. I have taken the feedback that @Fenoxo has given me, the two points: that TWS cannot be a Codex corporation, and that the weapon tooltips are too long and contain too much, and fixed these issues, while also submitting to you guys (and you too @Savin) What should this become? What company should they get in bed with? Can this happen?

I don't want my idea to die. I still feel like there should be something to fill the freezing & energy weapons niche, as well as something out there to make other interesting weapons for the player to use.

All of it is contained within this document and I am looking forward to any thoughts, comments, and feedback that you might have.

Edit: This has been rejected again. Waiting to hear feedback from Fenoxo on why it was rejected in order to (hopefully) keep working on it.

Ok so I looked over new doc and....

...either Steele or Pyrite corp would get my vote. For latter I likes reasonng why as for Steele corp. They started as mining company so due to using of cooling system that could be turned into freezing weapon it could been part of Steele corp for longer time. I had for a moment that crazy idea that TWS Division is overlooked by Max Steele but I not sure if it would fit his character to be overseer of this division compared to Victor.

But like I said, I don't plan to just make freezing weapons. Any kind of weapon and tech imaginable is on the board, all just depends on what the game might need. At this point it needs freezing weapons with energy flags. Later on I hope to be able to make other weapons too.

I think Reaper Armaments makes the most sense for Tasin Weapons Systems. It'd be their Specialist/Experimental weapon branch, and keep their conventional weaponry under a reliable name, while ensuring any flubs are placed on TWS, and away from their main brand.

Also, For other weapons, maybe some Corrosive-types? So far, I believe there's only one weapon in the whole game that does Corrosive (Tanis's Bow), and it could be an interesting niche - strong against armour/defence, but weak against shields? I like the idea of a specialised distributor/creator for the less-used damage types. I can imagine walking into a TWS Shop and finding all manner of fancy-ass weaponry that spits snowflakes and icicles.

Corrosive type weapons actually sounds like a fantastic niche that I never even thought of. Hopefully if/when progress is made on this I can start work on some acidic weapons for people to swing and shoot.

When I think about corrosive weapons, I think of enemies slowly melting after killing them with a corrosive weapon in Borderlands. And, uh, I'm not sure that would exactly be allowed. I'm not sure how you would avoid making corrosive weapons not, well, corrode things (specifically living things).

Now we're going into Borderlands territory, with Tasin being like the Maliwan of the game. That would be fun to think of things that way. :D

Edit: Ninjaed on the Borderlands reference, lol.

From what I've played with with fire DoT weapons in TiTs, they give a very short blurb about the fire eating away at you, but nothing very descriptive, so I imagine they can do the same for a corrosive weapon too (Albeit the only corrosive weapon I know of is Tanis's Bow, and even then I don't think/know if it did DoTs at all, moreso than just being more effective against heavily armored targets.)

Hell, if there's already incendiary, corrosive and shock weapons, why not just add the rest of the elemental damage types from Borderlands? Slag and explosive weapons would be cool as shit.

Tanis' Bow doesn't do DoT damage. I suppose a small, undescriptive blurb about the acid breaking down your armour or feeling it eating away at skin and such would be alright, maybe.

Well, we do shoot things with bullets and laser beams. And stab and smash them with a variety of implements. And not only do enemies (or the player) not die from this, they're also ready for sex after being beaten to the point they can't fight back. And are not-injured enough to (usually?) enjoy it. I'm not sure how much reality matters here.

Don't we already have flame throwers and machine guns? We already long passed the point of believably sexy violence. This is why for feminine enemies I only ever use tease attacks/ lust weapons. The idea of trying to sex up someone I just shot up with bullets/ maimed with potentially lethal weapons just doesn't feel right to me.

Probably he not shooting at they...jewels that would be only one needed part afterward for PC to use in sex scene :p

Or just been gentleman brute that not smash females (too hard).

Heh votes on which parent corp for TWS should be starting to divide among almost all possible choices. Would may have hard tme to decide with which to follow in final version of submission...probably it could be hard decision unless soon many people would favor one of the choices.

I only plan on sexing up the girly enemies. For that reason I don't shoot traps or femboys. But for anyone I'm not planning on shagging, they can eat hot lead if they challenge me to rape on loss combat.

At least you not demanded kill options for most of enemies. Death by been frozen solid than shattered...ugh ahh yeah Fen would not allow this even so we not need to worry about any heavier kill options then the one for cunt snakes.

Also I like you line of thoughts Milkman. Let cuddle/smuggle all female enemies ^^

Ahhh so this is where submissions go when they are up for discussion.

I'd say keep at it @RanmaChan! Frost weapons just dont sit well with me unless they have the Damage Flags of DOT Frost Burn or Freezing/Stun status. Cause it only makes sense after all that a Freeze Weapon should -y' know- freeze people with it and any cold-based bodily damage that comes with it.

Corrosive weapons sounds interesting too as they would probably work best against synthetic enemies.

EDIT: I definitely understand if the weapon would sound unbalanced that it has a chance to Stun with every shot. My argument would be a debuff in enemy stats (IE reflex or toughness) as compensation in exchange for Stun

Hmm making enemy arms frost burn to make it have worst aim or not so good reflex when we attack. And for enemeis with shield belt freezing belt so it can suddenlt loose shields (assuming frost attack of ours will bypass shields to affect shield belt).

I really do want to keep working on this. I want to help fill the different weapon niches in the game, and make combat a little bit more varied and interesting, but Fenoxo rejected my weapons submission for a second time now. This time however in the last PM he sent me he didn't say why he rejected it. I mean, I edited and worked on all the things he said he didn't like, so I have no clue what to do. I am waiting for him to respond to my PM asking what I can do/change/work on to help get this moving along, and try to get some of it into the game.

Thanks. In response to the DoT, the stun/freezing, and the debuff of enemy stats, all of those things I still have left questions beside, inside the document, as well as how much damage the DoT would do, or how many rounds the stun effects would last for, etc. I don't know what Fenoxo would like for all of this stuff, and I am still waiting to receive input, not only on that, but also just on the submission itself. I just need to be patient and wait for a PM response.

I wish you the best of luck in getting feedback and managing to polish up this project till the point that it's ready for inclusion. Any weapon that can potentially help tech specialists bolster their currently lack luster combat performance are of great interest to me.
