Recommended version of CoC to play + Save Editor

I last played CoC a little over a year ago, and would like to get the latest version. I see the version available on the play page, but I also see here on the forum the Revamp Mod, and also a version on Github here: https://github.com/herp-a-derp/Corruption-of-Champions

I'm kind of confused about what the general consensus is on which version is best to play. I assume the revamp mod and the github version are not "official" versions, but it sounds like maybe there aren't plans for any more official updates?

Additionally, what about the save editor? I know I used to have a save editor, but doubt it will work for the latest versions or unofficial versions.

The version on the Play page is the current official release.  The one on the Github should match it, but may be under development for the next release and thus unstable.  The final CoC update is expected to happen eventually, but there is no planned release date.  The save editor CoCed should work with the Play page version.

The modded version of the game adds additional content and features, but the quality control is extremely poor and I do not endorse playing it.  There are better things to jerk off to.  CoCed will not necessarily work correctly with it either.

On the other hand though, the Revamp mod is the latest official version with more features. Sure, you could just stick to the Offical one, but what if you start wondering about those extra things that could be included. A stray bugfix there, a new dungeon over there. An optional hunger system to keep you on your toes and high priced jewelry to buff the little things.

As for CoCed, there's a file available on the Revamp mod page that you can download that will update CoCed's options to recognize things in Revamp
