What I'm asking is, will something like reclaiming enough probes cause the space yakuza to come after you? Are there consequences to your actions? And, no, losing out on 10,000 credits doesn't qualify (in my opinion) as a consequence. That's like saying "well if you don't hack the game, the consequence is that you'll never be able to get all the best perks/infinite money/infinite stats." There is obviously a choice in reclaiming the probe so that a person is given the ability to grow a penis on their own terms in order to access every scene in the game without keeping them locked to the starting area until they manage to collect enough credits to buy a dose of Throbb.
