1) Are the post-battle victory sex scenes that mention your companions being involved supposed to recover their Resolve the same way they do the Champ's?

2) Are loss sex scenes supposed to never recover any Resolve?

I don't mean to be presumptuous by replying to this in place of a member of the dev team, but I thought I'd just share my thoughts in any case (I hope that's fine).

  1. I would think so, yes. Otherwise mentioning the Companions specifically would be somewhat redundant, as if they supposedly were involved yet didn't recover Resolve but the PC did, that would then seemingly imply that they didn't get "release", which would seemingly then clash with some of the post-combat victory sex scene's text involving them.
This is a mix of opinion and fact, but if the logic is for the PC to have their Resolve restored by a decent amount during a post-combat victory sex scene, it would then make sense that -- at the mention of certain Companions within the post-combat victory sex scenes -- for these specific Companions to have their Resolve restored as well, otherwise as stated prior, their mention would be somewhat redundant and the victory sex scene would feel a little bit less incentivized as a reward post-combat (as it definitely feels as such -- a reward -- for the PC due to the Resolve restore at the very least).
  2. Mostly opinion based: I would think not, no. This is due to the fact that the PC is often raped in these loss sex scenes, meaning that they would likely get "release" (depending on the specific loss scene's text) whether they wanted to or not. Not recovering Resolve wouldn't necessarily make the most sense if they did find "release" -- however I guess it would be on a case by case basis, such as potentially having a loss sex scene where the PC is "edged" but never finds "release" (in that case it would make sense for Resolve to drop and not be restored to full).
This is largely based on what can be observed in some combat encounters in CoC and TiTS.
    • More factually based: I would think not, no. This is due to the fact that in-game it mentions that "Second Wind" dictates that after combat ends the PC and all Companions will regain half of any lost Health or Resolve, however if they ended the combat with more Health / Resolve than they started with, they would then not recover any extra Health / Resolve.
    • Test is the PC's name, in case of any confusion.

      • Not entirely sure of the logic of the above, but I'd presume post-combat would account for the loss sex scene before restoring the PC's Resolve (if applicable) via "Second Wind". So, if there was any Resolve restore to be associated with the loss sex scene (assuming this is possible in the first place, which I presume is partly what you're asking in your question) it would possibly be included with the "Second Wind" restore.

One thing I am unsure of though, is whether the "Second Wind" applies to Conversation Battles or not. I presume that after the Conversation Battles the PC's Resolve gets restored to full regardless of win / loss -- however I've not really tested that of yet.

Yes. If you see ones that don't, please report them as bugs. They're easy oversights to make while coding.

Are loss sex scenes supposed to never recover any Resolve?
Basically yeah.
