Question: How to cheese the Nym-foe and Dollmaker fights early/mid game?

How do you do it? CAN you do it? The fights are incredibly hard for me to win, even when I'm a decent level. I like completing planets one by one, only going back a planet when I absolutely need to. Is there a way to complete this quest and win these fights early/mid level, preferably with items that are available pre-Myrellion?

It used to be possible Stun-lock with EMP Grenades. At some point, they changed to only work on Robots with Shields. No idea why. Word is Fenoxo has claimed the bug, so nobody gets to fix it before he does. Whenever that happens.

Power Potions are no longer automatically used, and have no in-combat use limit, so you can keep a stack or 5 for essentially infinite Energy.
Doll Maker's Physique is 28, so Stun weapons might work, so long as you have about that much Physique/Aim.
IIRC, the hard part is surviving until all her 'bouncy' stacks are gone.

They're both weak to Electric, so that's probably your best bet.

I manage to get past the Nym-foe but the Dollmaker I can't seem to get past. The Lust DoTs are really powerful and I can't for the life of me get past that part, with 30-40 lust ticks it's ridiculous. I have an electric weapon but I think I need to grind up some more levels I guess.

Ok so I tried this fight at a lowish level on a few of my times playing, it sucks frankly with the gear being the worse part. Smuggler was pretty bad at doing it low level for me with Merc being ok and Melee Mech doing ok with Drone Tech not fairing so well, the most important thing is to use the shock gun from Aurora if Ranged and the Shock Blade if Melee and if you lost to Dane wait. Also since it was never brought up use the Atama Armor it's really good for the fight, of the fights I didn't do with the armor I lost most of them.

Now if you don't care about your level going up by one I can give you an idea what to do that's even better then scrounging around Tarkus at level 5 which is the max level for that area. If you don't care about New Texas and revisits get on over there and deal with the varmints as they give the most exp that I can find for the time which help with getting from level 5 to 6, they give about 24000 exp per one so its pretty nice and once your level 6 you can go back to Mhen'ga and buy a shock bow and Staff.

What's your Willpower?

It's around ~30, changing depending on what I'm wearing. I managed to get by with my tech Steele, only barely (like 10 lust away from being bad ended.) I'm currently trying Ranged mercenary, but I haven't been successful. It might take a few tries.

Ranged Merc is really powerful, but you definitely want a Bonus Hit Rate weapon to make the most of it.

Well, I thought I'd try with all three classes and see which ones are easier. Yesterday I managed to get past the fights at level six on my Ranged mercenary and Melee tech specialist. I'm having difficulty with the fight on smuggler, ranged. For some reason Shock Bow doesn't do any damage to Nym-Foe unless it critical hits. I have no idea why.

Edit: I managed to get by by slamming down power potions, evading the nym-foe and dollmaker and slowly whittling down their health.
