Playable Ovir?

Ovir is a "playable" race if your character uses the transformation items (Ovir Ace and Ovir Positive) to turn into one, but as a starter race (half-ovir), that has yet to be determined, if at all.
I think we have a nice selection of starter races already though... making too many of the alien species available as starters would also kind of defeat the purpose of a transformation smut-blob like this.
The PC will never be a full alien race at the start of the game, The only full blood you'll ever actually be is Human/Earthling. All others you will be half-human half-something else.
I disagree. There is still plenty of room to move from any given halfbreed into something different and many TFs are for species it is impossible for Vic to have bred with, like the Zil for example, so the PC could never start out as bee-person.
Hell I'd argue that it's lore-breaking for the PC Steele to not possibly be a half-breed of any race discovered before your conception that is compatible with humans if even a tenth of what we've been told about Tricky Vic is true.
Well, remember, Vic still picks Steele Mom from a list of candidates he deems most appropriate/suitable, so that list can be as long or short as Fen wants it to be. Personally, I imagine it'd be pretty short. I think it's kind of weird that Vic knows so many different females of other species that are willing to have his kid totally out of the blue as it is, but my problems with the pregame sequence are well established by now.
Well when you're a 200 year old super rich playboy, it would be weird if you /didn't/ have a list of women willing to be knocked up by you, besides its not like he hasn't knocked up people frequently before hand (and as far as we can tell no one complained enough that even Steele Jr never heard of his half-blood siblings existance before the games start, so Vic is doing something right).
It's weirder that none of his bastard children or their mothers tried to stake any sort of claim on inheritance. An eccentric horndog who owns his own company and is worth a ridiculous amount of money would naturally attract plenty of attention, especially if it's to sire a legitimate heir, so that part's not strange at all.
You'd be surprised by the amount of instances of fans and groupies desiring to carry the baby of celebrity x.
Also I'm pretty sure, that Victor wasn't aware that Shade's mom was pregnant, let alone pregnant with his kid and Shade's mom wasn't aware that the male Kaithrit millionaire playboy she was fucking was actually Victor.
Maybe he was taking sterilex and didn't notice that the 24 hours of it's effect ran out, but that's kind of a stretch too. Then there is the situation that led to Kaede being a baby-daddy. Also there is the sheer amount of anonymous, casual sex that happens apparently in this universe.

I dunno. Accidentally getting her knocked up on top of her usual capacity to be completely unable to not get into a shitton of trouble sounds like plenty of suffering potential. Moreso if the pirates figure out the baby is the PC's and think to exploit it to try to gather the probes.
That a quite potentialy bad thing for her... especaily if this child turns out to be girl not boy nor herm. And ways that pirates ay use it for probe opening...that give me cribs.... No Xeivous no more cruelty let Savin just be cruel to her

Like I said before, as long as we get a rocking boss fight out of it then I'm cool with this.
Though the horrible decisions thing is probably why I don't really like Saendra or run through her content all that often. The anal-only certainly doesn't help, but I really can't stand being around incompetent people, and that extends to fictional people as well. It's the same reason I find myself frustrated at Kara even though I really want to like her. Helia had a rough life, but she generally felt like she was capable of taking care of herself in Mareth.
