I think we have a nice selection of starter races already though... making too many of the alien species available as starters would also kind of defeat the purpose of a transformation smut-blob like this.
Well, remember, Vic still picks Steele Mom from a list of candidates he deems most appropriate/suitable, so that list can be as long or short as Fen wants it to be. Personally, I imagine it'd be pretty short. I think it's kind of weird that Vic knows so many different females of other species that are willing to have his kid totally out of the blue as it is, but my problems with the pregame sequence are well established by now.
No, having that is... pretty weird. Giving birth to a child is not like getting some piece of memorabilia from a space celebrity. I'm positive there'd be a whole slew of females willing to fuck Victor, that's not really a question, but taking the leap to having his kid is... pretty huge.
Because remember, this situation does not involve Steele Mom marrying Vic, having a happily ever after with him while they raise their child together, and becoming a family. This is essentially a kind of surrogacy, which is not something any random woman would be willing to do for another person, even a super-attractive, super-rich celebrity like Victor. There's no explicit mention of Vic offering any kind of reward or compensation for doing him such a monumental service (not until after Vic is already dead, IIRC), either, which sort of implies that whoever he picks would just be willing to have his kid... for shits and giggles, I guess? It's something that's always bothered me since the very first time I played TiTS. It makes no sense.
Thank you for reminding me why Victor is so supremely detestable.
This is a pretty glaring plot hole, honestly, and yet another reason I have an issue with Victor. The "Magnificent Bastard" trope is all well and good, but being completely irresponsible has consequences, no matter how invincible someone thinks they are. The only Steele bastard we've encountered thus far is Shade.
From Shade's bio:
So Vic clearly did nothing for her, and Shade's mother (who is totally absent from the game/lore herself at the moment), for whatever reason, didn't try to pursue anything. It'd be pretty easy to prove Shade was his kid. We can do that nowadays without much issue. Also, Shade was born on the kaithrit homeworld, which is hardly some kind of fringe planet, and Vic certainly wasn't rushing when he was with Shade's mom. He just irresponsibly got her pregnant and then wandered off to do other things.
*fights need to vent simmering rage about Lil' Vicky for the hundredth fucking time*

The fact that Vic was having this much casual sex and didn't ever think to do something about his own virility is evidence that he's a piece of shit. It would have been simple and easy for someone like Vic to do that. He's living in the super advanced future, it's not the kind of heavy, life-changing decision it is IRL. He could have at least been taking Sterilex every day (inb4 "Sterilex didn't exist back then").
The long and short of it is that there's no way to excuse Victor's conduct. He's a piece of shit.
... Suuuure is Ovir talk here.. >.<
This thread certainly derailed super quickly, and HOLY shit it derailed so damn hard.
For some reason. ¬¬

Okay, @Savin, I've gotta ask: Do you have some kind of like... "accidental" or "unplanned" impreg thing you're secretly not telling anyone about? Because I'm noticing a trend here. Never really noticed how much you use that scenario until right now.
At least Kaede is there for her kid, though. And isn't roaming around making more just for the hell of it.

We need the Dorna Parents x-pack.
Well, it's just that I can't really recall you ever writing any major NPC's that wanted to have kids is all. :smugdog:
Sex is only fun and casual when peoples' lives aren't being changed forever by it!
Where's my lovey-dovey mom-and-pop couple with a few kids that they planned for and raised in a stable environment, huh?
We need the Dorna Parents x-pack.
Did Helia want to have a kid?
That's... Actually, parent/child incest is really icky to me. Siblings are great, cousins are great :smugdog: , but parents/aunt/uncle/grandparents? No thank you. Something about that "elder/guardian" status really doesn't sit well with me. Which is odd, because I really like motherly, caring MILFS... just as long as they aren't actually my mom. Might be because I'm me, though. I dunno.
like motherly, caring MILFS...
Weeeeeeeell, her biology made her want to. She goes baby crazy for a bit, and then immediately regrets everything.
I ain't writing it, but I'd probably fap to it.
Also, the new bakery bunny is kind of a mix: the first time the PC knocks her up its a happy accident, but thereafter she's totally into it. "Breed me more, senpai!"
Oh God... don't tell me that's how Saen-puss is gonna play out.
Say it ain't so, Savin. hdear:
If I ever get back to writing instead of just living on these forums like some kind of wretched internet castaway, she won't be the only one that's like that...
It's the only way I can even try to make myself in any way endearing! I'm sorry!
Teasing and Ranting are my only two modes! :magical:
WHY DO YOU WRITE SUCH SADNESS?
Oh God... don't tell me that's how Saen-puss is gonna play out.
I have worse things in store for her.

I dunno. Accidentally getting her knocked up on top of her usual capacity to be completely unable to not get into a shitton of trouble sounds like plenty of suffering potential. Moreso if the pirates figure out the baby is the PC's and think to exploit it to try to gather the probes.
Because characters making horrible decisions and having to live with the consequences is my fetish.
And no, it's not. No pregshit for Saendra ever.
I have worse things in store for her.
