Parasitic Creature that lives in PC?

I know that the Mimbranes are similar to this, but I was thinking of a creature that lives inside the PCs belly and stays as long as the PC wants (I prefer a consensual situation but non-con would be interesting as a failure condition as well). I image a companion on the ship that, when ready to go on an adventure, they climb into the PCs womb/belly and then you're off.

I actually didn't know that was the intended purpose of the idea section :s I was just putting it out there since I'm new

In actuality rather than a symbiote kind of thing that takes over I was thinking more like the tentacle monster that comes from the mysterious egg, except this is consensual and doesn't result in a birthing scene

It would be cool to see something like this evolve into a fully fleshed companion, maybe in combat they could emerge from the PC and help fight? I haven't fully thought the idea out yet to be honest

With all due respect, knock that shit off. Thats an absurdly distasteful comment just begging for drama. Whatever your opinions on someones writing you don't have a right to discourage them from starting a new project, and directly referencing another writer you would prefer to write that project is insulting to a guy offering to write something for free in his own damn time.
