Old Issues Returning 0.2.22

I recall either myself or someone else posting about this issue a while back. Randomly the game will softlock itself when going to journal. I can never purposefully replicate the glitch, so it appears to be completely random. The series of events that led to the crash were: traveling from southern harvest valley to the river, losing the fight against the witch, accidentally clicking journal when trying to load my save.

I can post my save if it would help, though I'm not sure what good it'll do. I tried replicating the events twice and both times clicking journal does not lead to a crash. I'll attach the picture of what the softlock looks like.

If this happens again can you press f12 and go to the console tab and copy any error messages and paste them here?
