I'm assuming you know there is a save editor for use online? merely upload your save, edit what you wish, download altered save, load it up. There's a thread on it somewhere around the forums here somewhere. Just make judicious use of the forum search. My apologies if you were specifically trying to avoid using it for some reason.

click the blue link partway down this post. this editor (the one behind the blue text link in the post, not the one in the post) can do what you're aiming for in the other post about the treatment results. no object notation experience required.
