In tits, a ton of fascinating alien species exist, but most are sentient like us. This book contains animals I made up based on real-life creatures from earth to expand the backgrounds of the planets we explore. I plan to write a few for each planet that does not have a great deal of wildlife shown or explained. Most of these creatures might only have a slight chance of being physically in the game, at most they might be a passing reference.
These creatures will be explored in the codex under each planet, as the game goes on. So, in short, I wish to flush out the animals in each ecosystem. Also for animals already on these planets, I will not expand on those said animals without the original author's consent. I hope it goes well. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lHTo241WzgcBW_Fm2ITG3TvMmu4mWkcwAbqhMqPfB18/edit?usp=sharing

Oh boy, you shouldn't have posted that when a biologist is lurking around.

I'm gonna put everything behind a big spoiler so the post doesn't take the whole page:

Okapi: Relative to giraffes, it looks like a hybrid between a giraffe and a Zebra (it isn't really) and they have massively long tongues. how big you say? The females use it for cleaning their genitalia.

Tasmanian tiger: Extinct predatory marsupial. They had massive jaws.

Owls: Owls are always cool, with those intense eyes.

Hawks: Also awesome looking birds

Green dragontail: Awesome butterflies

Fossa: These bastards have the weirdest dicks ever, it's like someone decided to toss every dick into it. They have double knotted, barbed, flared dicks. And the females? Oh boy, they also have a long, retractile, barbed clitoris when they are juvenile, big enough so other females might mistake it for a dick.

Post number 2 because apparently there is an image limit:

Blue sea dragon: A sea slug, also awesome.

Sea angel: Another sea slug, one of the few that can swim. They are transparent, glowing and they have a bunch of retractile tentacles. They are also hermaphrodites.

Leafy sea dragon and weedy sea dragon (male with eggs): They are seahorses, but anyway, dragons.

Mantis shrimps: Awesome crustaceans capable of shattering aquariums if you piss them off.

I might put a cryptid log here or there, but It might only be one a planet the plan is about 4 real animals minimum. If you ever hear about such a mythical creature they will be like Bigfoot or the loch ness monster told in tails from local tribes life forms extra.

While being inspired by earth species is great and all, it doesn't quite make for a truly alien experience or atmosphere. If it were me I'd really think outside the box for this sort of thing. I recommend checking with xenobiology art forums. Some of those are really out there.

Bit of a head-start:

To be fair, there is nothing truly "alien" about the TiTS universe, most sapients are based on anthropomorphic animals. I don't see any reason why animals would need to be bizarre.

True. Either way, I wish this guy luck on fleshing out the wildlife of the TiTSverse.
