Not sure how to get stronger

I've reached max level smuggler and I'm on Uveto looking to explore and see what I can find. Trouble is I seem to be taking a lot of damage from the Aliens there and I'm not sure what I can do to get any stronger. I'm guessing I need to purchase better weapons and armor but I'm not sure where to go to find the best stuff. When fighting the Aliens I'm normally left on about 50 hp from the males and the females die almost instantly and when I encountered the 3 Aliens doing the ritual they absolutely destroyed me.

So yea any tips on how I can make it easier now that I'm max level? maybe a certain vendor that sells the best equipment? any advice would be awesome!

The best purchasable armors and weapons at this point are sold at a shop on the surface level of the uveto town. South of the passage leading to the greater Uveto exploitable area.

There are two things you need to do to maximize your stregnth, only one of these is having good equips
You also need to get your stats as high as possible. The 10 ton gym in new texas can help you maximize your stregnth, reflexes and aim, Syri on Men'gha can help you maximize your int.

Theres also playing to your build. Do you use sneak attack or aimed shot? Keep in mind that the melee stun is actually pretty bad, so melee builds will still need to keep aim up to bar for flash granade to keep sneak attack viable. Smugglers are also built for evasion, this means grabbing every evasion bonus you can. You can get a huge 10% from the shop on Uveto's space station, another 5 from a spear sold by a kitsune in the center of the rift. There are not that many evasion armors, but its worth looking for them.

I think you should be able to find the best shields on Uveto, and the wespons they sell there are pretty nice too.

There are also several ways to buff up your stats, primarily through spamming different gym exercises on New Texas. Talking to During about books repeatedly will also increase your intelligence. And don't forget to get your lust attack up as well. It would take quite some time to do all of those but once you max out all your stats you should find the enemies much less challenging.

Armor, yeah, rivals the nova goo armor, but shields? Last I saw from Uveto in shields was civilian heat belts that offer very little past keeping warm and sink far below the standards of Myrellion's shield belts from the Vi nurse droid or Nyrean Queen's daughter.

My mistake, I forgot where I got my shield generator from. Yeah the best one in game so far should be the one we get from Nyrean queen princess. Otherwise the ones sold in Myrellion's shops are the best option.

Regarding the shields. Just get the temperature pack from Tlako and use that. Boom, now you can keep the strongest shield AND stay warm without a heatbelt.

I don't use that shielding, I prefer warm clothing. Doubles as good wyvern defenses and negates annoyances. Like keeping a eye on that buff's timer... though I guess it annoys me how it lowers my exhibitionism but inventory is tight. Bleh ... damned if I do, damned if I don't, and then damned some more by the heat belt being so crappy low.

You can still max stats via the Ten Ton Gym and Syri. It just takes many days for that last point.

Source: I just rolled a new character from the last build, I think I spent upwards of over 100 game days maxing out those stats.

Ahh well then date on wiki seems be inaccurate as it should be no gains after certain % of max stat value. Even with current 40 been max 95% of it is around 38 so getting 39th and 4th point should be impossible with using gym or Syri. Well if it's possible then either wiki need update of that is bug in slow stat gains thing their added.

It's much more efficient to save your level-up points for later, do slow stat gains wherever possible first and then get the last few points with level-up points. It's a bit harder early-game, but that's nothing the ZK Rifle and Tanis Greatbow can't solve.

Thou due to not yet fanal max lvl implemented each time we would get lvl cap rised it will mean new grinding to get again to next cap or jsut keeping always some save right before using lvl-up stat points. But going by that logic we may need wait many years till lvl cap will reach 20.
