They are a different breed or something? Kavi doesn't have a human face and is the same size as Brint/Brienne, I expected some sort of comment on it having them in the party.

Northern minos are a separate branch that came about after the full anthro cow ladies of Khor'minos split off from the bulls and took husbands from other species.

So in the present day the distribution of the 'furry factor' is mirriored: Khor'minoan minos have animalistic bull guys and mostly human looking gals while Northern Minotaurs have animalistic cow ladies and mostly human looking men.

I imagine Northern Minos are also significantly more fluffy as a result of their adoptation to their new icy home.
